  • Patent number: 10858018
Abstract: A train information management device sends and receives information to and from both a train-controlling in-vehicle wireless station for controlling an operation of a train, and a door-controlling in-vehicle wireless station for controlling vehicle doors. The device includes a wireless train control unit, an automatic operation unit, and a door control unit. The wireless train control unit receives route information represented by a consecutive block sequence and information on a stop limit location that the train may reach without hindering a preceding train, and if this route information includes a station block number, consults an in-vehicle database to extract, before the train arrives at a platform, an arrival track where the train is to stop, a stop target location at a stop station dependent on a travel direction of the train, and which of the vehicle doors is to be opened, and stops the train in accordance with the route information.

  • Patent number: 10377398
Abstract: A train wireless system includes a train detecting apparatus on the ground and a controller on a train. The detecting apparatus includes a detector and a calculator. The detector detects that the train is on rails in a block. The calculator measures an on-rail time during which the detector detects the train in the block, and calculates an on-rail detecting time during which the train has been on the rails in the block. The controller includes a distance measurer, a time measurer, a recorder, and a train-length calculator. The distance measurer measures a travelling distance of the train from a beginning of the block, the time measurer measures an elapsed time since the distance measurer starts the measurement, the recorder records the elapsed time and the travelling distance, and the train-length calculator searches the recorder based on the detecting time, and calculates the train length using a selected travelling distance.

  • Patent number: 5929285
Abstract: Highly purified 3,5,5-trimethylcyclohexa-3-en-1-one is produced with a high production efficiency by inhibiting thermal decomposition of an isomerization catalyst. The method comprises isomerizing 3,5,5-tri-methylcyclohexa-2-en-1-one (.alpha.-isophorone) in the presence of an isomerization catalyst under reduced pressure at a reaction temperature of 90.degree. C. to 205.degree. C., and simultaneously distilling the reaction product, thereby inhibiting thermal decomposition of the isomerization catalyst. This method provides the isomerized product at a high level of the unit-time production for a long period, and prevents contamination caused by the decomposed product of the isomerization catalyst.

  • Patent number: 5908956
Abstract: This method provides trimethylhydroquinone diester by using a recyclable catalyst which shows high activity and operability in the reaction, while reducing the risk of corrosion of the reactor. The method for the production of 2,5,6-trimethylhydroquinone diester comprises reacting 2,6,6-trimethylcyclohexe-2-en-1,4-dione with an acylating agent in the presence of a solid catalyst. The acylating agent includes a C.sub.2-4 carboxylic acid anhydride (e.g. acetic anhydride) and a C.sub.2-4 carboxylic acid halide (e.g. acetyl chloride). The solid catalyst includes a solid acid catalyst (e.g. strongly or super-strongly acidic ion exchange resin, compound oxide, zeolite, heteropoly acid).
