  • Patent number: 6216971
Abstract: A photo film cassette has a spool core about which photo film is wound in a form of a roll. A cassette shell contains the spool core in a rotatable manner. Two flanges have a disk shape, and are secured to respective ends of the spool core, for regulating lateral edges of the roll of the photo film. A circumferential lip is disposed on each flange, is extended toward the opposite one of the flanges, wraps one of the lateral edges of an outermost turn of the photo film of the roll, and prevents the photo film from being loosened. A rim portion is disposed on an circular edge of the circumferential lip confronted with the opposite one of the flanges, to project with a bend away from the spool core. A contact face is disposed on the rim portion, and contacts the one of the lateral edges of the photo film when the photo film is unwound from the spool core or wound back about the spool core. The contact face has a contact range of 0.15-0.8 mm in contacting the one of the lateral edges of the photo film.

Abstract: A photo film cassette includes a spool core, on which the photo film is wound in a form of roll. A cassette shell contains the spool core in rotatable fashion. First and second flanges are respectively secured to ends of the spool core, for regulating positions of sides of the photo film roll. A first ring-like lip is formed integrally with a periphery of the first flange, is projected toward the roll, is contacted on one edge of an outermost turn of the roll, and prevent the roll from being loosened. The first and second flanges are formed from resin in accordance with injection molding. The resin has temperature of thermal deformation being 80° C. or higher under 18.6 kg/cm2, modulus in elasticity in flexure being 13,000-30,000 kg/cm2, surface hardness being 80 or more in Rockwell R-scale, and high fluidity in molds for the injection molding. The first and second flanges have an outer diameter of 15 mm or more, thickness of 0.

  • Patent number: 5653325
Abstract: To provide a conveyor system for divergence and convergence, which is capable of always satisfactorily diverging or converging articles without regard to their size. When the roller axes 19 are orthogonal to the transport path 9, an article 60 to be transported is transported downstream by the rollers 16 without being sorted. When it is desired to sort the article 60, an angle changing device 30 is actuated to individually change the angles of inclination of the rollers 16, such that those rollers which are disposed in the upstream region are given a smaller angle of inclination, the angle of inclination being gradually increased. Diversion of the article can be effected such that it has its direction of orientation gradually changed from a smaller angle to a larger angle while it is gradually moved to one side by a smaller amount to a larger amount.

  • Patent number: 5348239
Abstract: A cassette shell consisting of a pair of shell halves, upper and lower, molded from resin. The cassette shell is disassembled to take out the exposed film for development. When the cassette shell is molded, molten resin is injected so as to form a weld line to encircle the circumferential surface of the cassette shell, along which line the cassette shell is broken by spreading a port portion with a jig. In a preferred embodiment, a groove is formed inside the cassette shell and serves for breaking the cassette shell. In another preferred embodiment, receiving recesses are formed on a juncture between the shell halves for receiving a disassembling jig.

  • Patent number: 5265820
Abstract: A cassette shell consists of two shell halves, and rotatably contains a spool core on which a photographic film is wound. A pair of spool flanges are loosely fitted on the spool core. Rotation of the spool core causes a film leader to advance through a film passage slit. A melting point of resin for molding the spool flanges is different from that of resin for molding the cassette shell for the purpose of avoiding undesired ultrasonic welding on their contact surfaces when joining the shell halves. The spool flanges are molded from material including polyolefin resin having a high density and a high molecular weight in order to reduce friction against the cassette shell and the photographic film.

  • Patent number: 5211348
Abstract: A photographic film cassette has a photographic film leader, which is advanced outwardly from a cassette shell when a spool is rotated. The spool has two flanges, of which a first one is loosely fitted on a core of the spool. A circumferential lip projects from an inside surface of the first flange toward a photographic filmstrip, contacts on a lateral side of a roll of the filmstrip, and prevents the roll from loosening. The first flange together with the lip is formed according to thermoforming from a sheet of thermoplastic resin having a melt index of 4 or less so as to have a high intensity, and has a thickness of 0.4 mm or less so as to be deformable with a small force.

  • Patent number: 5112235
Abstract: Disclosed is an electrical connector comprising a multi-terminal plug and multi-terminal socket in which each female terminal is composed of a contact section, a solder tail section and intermediate curved joint integrally connected to the contact section and the soldering tail section. The curved joint of each female terminal will be yieldingly bent when an external force is applied to push the male terminal in the female terminal, thereby absorbing the external force and preventing deformation of the solder tail section, and hence peeling-off or cracking of solder at the solder tail. The intermediate curved section will also permit the contact section to float in order to compensate for the misalignment of the contact section relative to its mating pin.

  • Patent number: 5088929
Abstract: Disclosed is an improvement of board-to-board connection type electric connector which comprises: a terminal housing having terminals laterally arranged and fixed at regular intervals with two contact legs of each terminal exposed from the housing; a connector casing to accommodate the terminal housing loosely; means to hold the underlying printed board in contact with the lower contact legs of the terminals; and means to retain resiliently the overlying printed board in the contact position with upper contact legs of the terminals. Thus, a required electrical connection can be made without soldering numerous small terminals of the connector to printed circuits. Therefore, arrangement of numerous small terminals at narrow intervals will cause no difficulty in making a required electrical connection.
