  • Publication number: 20240139922
Abstract: Provided is a working machine with improved durability. A nail driver (working machine) includes a hitting portion that is formed in a rod shape extending about an axis line, an injection portion that abuts on an outer peripheral surface of the hitting portion, thereby guiding a movement of the hitting portion toward one side in the axial direction, and a supply portion that energizes a fastener toward one side in a direction intersecting with the axial direction, thereby supplying the fastener to the injection portion. The hitting portion has a tip part, and a center part provided at a position different from that of the tip part in the axial direction. At least a part of an outer peripheral surface of the tip part (tip part outer peripheral surface) on an anti-feeder side with respect to the axis line protrudes from an outer peripheral surface of the center part (center par outer peripheral surface) on a supply portion side with respect to the axis line.

  • Patent number: 8899367
Abstract: A saddle-ride type vehicle can include a pair of left and right seat rails, a fuel tank attached to the seat rails, a rear fender arranged below the fuel tank, and a canister arranged above the rear fender and adsorbing fuel gas which evaporates in the fuel tank. The canister is arranged under a rear portion of the fuel tank, at least partially superposed on the fuel tank as viewed from a plan view of the vehicle, and arranged in a vehicle forward direction with respect to a cross member which interconnects rear portions of the pair of left and right seat rails.

  • Patent number: 5969224
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a speedometer capable of distinctly indicating traveling speeds in a range of traveling speeds at which a vehicle travels in most of the time. A speedometer has a scale plate provided with a main speed scale of a substantially semicircular shape. The overall scale range of the main speed scale is divided by division points into four equal sections, and scale marks 5, 10, 15 and 45 mph are marked on the main speed scale at the division points, respectively. A low-speed range, i.e., a working speed range, of 0 to 15 mph extends in 3/4 of the overall scale range and the working speed range is graduated in quinary divisions of 5 mph. Therefore, speed indications in the low-speed range can accurately be read with an increase number of digits.

  • Patent number: 5967127
Abstract: To improve the low-temperature resistance of a blow-by gas treatment device. An air cleaner is connected through a carburetor to the intake side of a cylinder portion constituting an engine in a four-wheel buggy. A blow-by gas induction pipe is provided to connect a crankcase and one side surface of the air cleaner, so as to induce a blow-by gas from the crankcase to a return chamber defined in the air cleaner at one side portion thereof. An exhaust pipe extends rearwardly from the exhaust side of the cylinder portion along a part of the induction pipe, and is connected to a muffler. The muffler is located in the vicinity of the return chamber in the air cleaner, so as to warm the return chamber by the heat radiated from the muffler, thereby ensuring good returnability of the blow-by gas even at low temperatures. The exhaust pipe similarly warms the induction pipe.

  • Patent number: 5791431
Abstract: A frame structure for a saddle-seat vehicle supports a plurality of wheels, with at least one of the wheels being steerable, and with at least one of the wheels being driven by a power unit. The frame structure includes a main frame member. The main frame member has a generally cylindrical cross-section and is formed as a one-piece continuous tubular member. The main frame member includes a left portion, a right portion, and a curved front portion interconnecting the left portion with the right portion. The curved front portion is located above and forwardly of the power unit. A heat plate is located between the left portion and the right portion, and rearwardly of the curved front portion. The heat plate includes a plurality of lip portions which overlay the left portion, the right portion, and the curved front portion of the main frame member. The lip portion includes a pair of elastic bushings which are located between the lip portion and the left and right portions of the main frame member.

  • Patent number: 5699872
Abstract: A crank shaft of a power unit is disposed in the longitudinal direction of a vehicular body. Accessories provided at either end portion of the crank shaft are covered with a front cover and rear covers which are removable from a casing. Front and rear drive shafts are disposed to be lower than the axial line of the crank shaft. A fan unit and an air cleaner are disposed to be higher than the axial line, so that front and rear operating spaces for inserting an impact wrench are formed in front of and in back of the front cover and the rear covers. The maintenance is performed through the operational spaces.

  • Patent number: 5692578
Abstract: An air intake tube is provided for attempting to prevent, as much as possible, the entry of mud or water splashed by the front wheels of a vehicle having a structure with an engine, an air cleaner arranged adjacent to and at the back of the engine and a fuel tank positioned above the engine. The engine and other elements are mounted at an intermediate portion of a body frame having its front portion suspending the front wheels and its rear portion suspending the rear wheels. An air intake tube extends from the air cleaner toward the fuel tank. In the rear wall of the fuel tank, there is formed inwardly an accommodation recess extending backward, and the air intake tube has its open top end projecting into the accommodation recess.
