  • Publication number: 20170323644
Abstract: [Problem] To suppress an erroneous identification resulting from registration speech, and identify the speaker stably and precisely. [Solving means] The speech recognition unit 102 extracts the text data corresponding to the registration speech, as the extraction text data. The registration speech is a speech input by a registration speaker reading aloud registration target text data that is preliminarily set text data. The registration speech evaluation unit 103 calculates a score representing a similarity degree between the extracted text data and the registration target text data (registration speech score) for each registration speaker. The dictionary registration unit 104 registers the feature value of the registration speech in the speaker identification dictionary 108 for registering the feature value of the registration speech for each registration speaker, according to the evaluation result by the registration speech evaluation unit 103.

  • Patent number: 8166484
Abstract: For a resource reservation in a distributed resource system, a tentative reservation request and a job reservation request are issued from a job scheduler to a resource management unit. The tentative reservation is valid for a short time period, and cannot coexist with another tentative reservation or the job reservation. In order to actually use resources, a job reservation must be issued after registration of the tentative reservation. If a tentative reservation request is received for a resource to which another tentative reservation request is already accepted, the tentative reservation request is stored in a wait queue, which is successful if the another tentative reservation is cancelled or failed due to the expiration of the validity time period.

  • Patent number: 8112527
Abstract: A virtual machine management apparatus connected to a plurality of server devices via a network generates a new virtual machine on a server device in accordance with a request from a management terminal. At that time, for one or more server devices to which a new virtual machine can be allocated, the virtual machine management apparatus refers to an allocation rule table for storing a score for each of combinations of types of virtual machines. The score indicates appropriateness of a condition that each combination of types of virtual machines is to be allocated to the same server device. Thus, the virtual machine management apparatus computes an index value indicative of appropriateness of a condition that the new virtual machine is to be allocated to the server device. Then the virtual machine management apparatus determines an allocation target for the new virtual machine with reference to the computed index value.

  • Patent number: 8099509
Abstract: [Means for Solution] Access-control-rule application means (310), upon receiving an access request, refers to an access control rule DB (350) and resource information DB (360), to judge whether the attribute of a rule matched with the request is permitted, denied, or manual approval. The access-control-rule application means (310) requests manual-access-control application means (320) to input a result of approval, if the attribute is manual approval. The manual-access-control application means (320) inputs the result of approval input from a resource administrator's terminal (104) into access-control-rule application means (310), which outputs the result of approval.

  • Patent number: 8024740
Abstract: In a resource acquisition system, computing resources are located in different domains, and a resource manager is located in each domain. A scheduler receives a resource acquisition request from a client via a network, and determines at least one administrative domain and transmits to the network a verification request specifying a computing resource and an operation. The resource manager is responsive to the verification request for performing reconfiguration of the specified resource according to the specified operation and verifying that the resource is legitimately reconfigurable, and transmitting back to the scheduler a verification report containing the identifier of the reconfigurable resource. The scheduler is responsive to the verification report for transmitting a reconfiguration request to the resource manager to perform reconfiguration on the verified resource.

  • Patent number: 7930398
Abstract: In a distributed computing system, an end terminal transmits a job execution request to a job scheduler, which in response determines a resource and a job execution period necessary for executing a job on the resource based on contents of the job indicated in the message. A reservation request message containing the job execution period and the resource identity is sent from the job scheduler to a target resource proxy. The resource proxy determines a scheduled period of the resource based on the job execution period by checking its schedule memory, and transmits a reservation response to the job scheduler. The job scheduler acquires a certificate signed by the user from the end terminal and transmits the acquired certificate to the resource proxy. In response to the certificate of the user, the resource proxy makes a reservation of the identified resource according to the scheduled period.

  • Publication number: 20110004676
Abstract: In deployment of a virtual appliance to a physical server, a setting file required for the virtual appliance to operate is automatically generated based on a configuration of the physical server and a network configuration, and connection relation between the virtual appliances. Specifically, resource data assigned to the virtual appliance and connection data are registered on a configuration data database, and a template of the setting file is set in advance to a virtual machine image for the virtual appliance. In the deployment of the virtual appliance to the physical server, optional attributes described in the template of the setting file are replaced by specific setting values (actual data) by using the resource data and the connection data stored in the configuration data database, to generate the setting file.
