  • Publication number: 20080238820
Abstract: A motion picture moving on a display screen 21 of a display device 2 to be evaluated is captured a plurality of times by means of a galvano camera 3a. The captured data include locations of the moving picture in the moving direction on the display device 2 to be evaluated and data on luminance of the display device at the respective time points of the locations. Based on these data, a motion picture eye-tracking simulation is performed, where an integration along the eye tracking direction over an integral multiple of 1 frame time is performed to obtain a motion picture response curve of the display device 2 to be evaluated. Evaluations of motion picture characteristics and motion picture blur can be made based on the motion picture response curve.

  • Publication number: 20080191806
Abstract: A high frequency power amplifier electronic component (RF power module) is so constituted as to apply bias to an amplifier FET in current mirror configuration. In this RF power module, deviation of a bias point due to the short channel effect of the FET is corrected, and variation in high frequency power amplifier characteristics is reduced. The high frequency power amplifier circuit (RF power module) is so constituted that the bias voltage for the amplifier transistor in a high frequency power amplifier circuit is supplied from a bias transistor connected with the amplifier transistor in current mirror configuration. In addition to a pad (external terminal) connected with the control terminal of the amplifier transistor, a second pad is provided which is connected with the control terminal of the bias transistor connected with the amplifier transistor in current mirror configuration.

  • Patent number: 6028475
Abstract: Disclosed is a demodulating apparatus for preventing a reduction in reliability of demodulated data even if a signal point of a multi-level QAM signal is detected, because of influence from fading or noises, in a position where such a signal is not normally existent. To this end, a modulated signal modulated by a multi-level QAM modulation system is orthogonally detected, and analog signals of I and Q channels placed in an orthogonal relationship with each other are outputted. By an identification device, the analog demodulated signals are digitized and then outputted as digital demodulated signals of I and Q channels. If a signal point outside a normal signal point arrangement is detected among the outputs, a digital demodulated signal within a normal signal point arrangement is substituted for the detected signal and then original code data is reproduced.

  • Patent number: 5993863
Abstract: The present invention aims at providing an alimentative infusion liquid which has improved stability and preservability and can be administered through a peripheral vein. The infusion liquid contains sugars, amino acids, electrolytes and a fat emulsion at a specific mixing ratio and has a specific pH value and a titratable acidity. The alimentative infusion liquid of the present invention containing the above-described components has good preservability without suffering from precipitation, denaturation and the like problems. Further, since the pH value is adjusted to a specific level and the titratable acidity is retained low, administration of the infusion liquid through a peripheral vein does not cause troubles such as angialiga.

  • Patent number: 5839404
Abstract: An intake manifold positioned between two banks of a V-shaped engine has a structure in which a body section and a connecting section coupled to each other with a plate-like mounting stay interposed therebetween. A support leg integrally formed on the mounting stay is fixed by a bolt to injector bases coupled to cylinder heads of the engine E. Thus, it is possible to firmly support the intake manifold by means of the mounting stay and moreover, to eliminate the need for a special fixing device for fixing the mounting stay to the intake manifold, thereby leading to a reduced number of parts.

  • Patent number: 5613236
Abstract: A clip holder for holding a portable receiver having a front panel, back panel, sides, and a display on the front panel. The clip holder has two members, a receiver holder and a clip plate. The receiver holder and clip plate are attached to opposite ends of a pivot disposed within a cam. The clip plate and receiver holder may be maintained in any position about the pivot because the cam is friction engaged with the receiver holder in all positions. The receiver is engaged to an outer surface of the receiver holder. The clip holder may be attached to a user's belt or waist garment when the belt or garment is located between the clip plate and receiver holder. The clip holder is secured to the user's waist when the receiver holder is fully rotated toward the clip plate so the clip plate and receiver are in a substantially parallel orientation.

  • Patent number: 5546572
Abstract: A retrieving key representing position information is used to retrieve image information containing the retrieving key information at a high speed and high precision. First a retrieving key is inputted to display retrieval information. The retrieving key is used to retrieve an image having a large size relative to a geometric distortion error, and the longitude/latitude conversion coefficients of the retrieved image are corrected. By using the corrected longitude/latitude conversion coefficients, an image having a small size relative to the geometric distortion error is retrieved, and the retrieved image is subject to distortion correction and image magnification.

  • Patent number: 5493172
Abstract: In a flat cathode ray tube, a flat glass tube is of three-element structure includes a screen panel integrally provided with skirt portions which are erected from the screen panel along the front end and the opposite side portions thereof continuously, a front panel or a back panel of a sheet-like configuration, and a funnel portion having a neck portion. The screen panel, front panel and funnel portion are combined through frit glasses, and a phosphor screen is formed on the inner surface of the screen panel. An electron gun is disposed within the neck portion, so that an electron beam generated from the electron gun collides with molecules within the flat glass tube to generate negative ions. The negative ions are accelerated and irradiated at the center portion on the skirt portion provided at the front end of the screen panel, whereby the phosphor screen is prevented from being burned by the ions and degradation of the frit glass due to impact of the negative ions is prevented.
