  • Patent number: 8153091
Abstract: To provide a simple highly-pure Xe retrieval method and device with high retrieval efficiency by functionally removing such elements as water, CO2 and FCs from waste gases from semiconductor production processes, such as the plasma etching, that contain low-concentration Xe. For samples containing xenon and fluorocarbon, this invention is characterized by having at least first adsorption means (A1) filled with synthetic zeolite with pore size of 4A or smaller and aluminum oxide, arranged serially, gas separation means (A2) composed of silicone or polyethylene hollow fiber gas separation membrane modules 4, second adsorption means (A3) filled with either activated carbon, synthetic zeolite with pore size of 5A or larger, molecular sieving carbon with pore size of 5A or larger, or a combination of these, and reaction means (A4) filled with calcium compounds as reactant.

  • Patent number: 6319121
Abstract: The objective is to provide an image synthesis method, games machine, and information storage medium which make it easy for a player to learn operating sequences that cause a game character to perform various different actions. If a training mode in which a player can practice manipulations is selected and an attack of a game character 30 hits another game character 32, a hit mark 34 is displayed at the hit location. In addition, a replay image is displayed if a replay creation condition is satisfied or if the player has performed a given manipulation. To enable the player to practice counterattacking, a game character manipulated by the computer initiates attacks at a constant timing.

  • Patent number: 6149523
Abstract: The objective of this invention is to provide an image synthesis method, sound synthesis method, games machine and information storage medium for making it easy to learn a complicated operating sequence from a game controller. This system determines whether an input sequence by which operating buttons are pressed in sequence matches a standard sequence that is specified by standard operations (41) to (51). If the input sequence matches, a matching identification symbol lights up. When an operating button is pressed, an identification sound that identifies the press operating button is output. The player can perceive the operations to be input and the operations that the player has input from these identification symbols and sounds. This makes it easy to acquire special techniques used in a fighting game. Outputting identification symbols and sounds in this manner is particularly effective in a training mode.
