    Abstract: A method of fabricating a microlens array first forms a photosensitive resin layer on the surface of a transparent substrate opposite from the surface having aperture portions. It then places an exposure substrate and the transparent substrate so that parallel light having an intensity distribution corresponding to a shape of an exposure microlens array is focused by the exposure microlens array and enters the transparent substrate through the aperture portions. After that, the method exposes the photosensitive resin layer by applying the parallel light to the photosensitive resin layer through the exposure substrate. Then, it develops the exposed photosensitive resin layer.
