Publication number: 20110000331Abstract: Provided are a ball-type speed reducer and a rotary table device that are capable of performing high-speed rotation and high-rigidity rotation and suitable for reduction in size and weight. An index table 10 includes a ball-type speed reducer 20 and a table 50 that is fixed to an upper surface of a worm wheel 30 of the ball-type speed reducer 20. When the worm gear 22 rotates as the input shaft 24 of the ball-type speed reducer 20 rotates, balls 36 made of a magnetic material move along a ball groove 26 having a spiral shape. The worm wheel 30 rotates as the balls 36 move, and the table 50 rotates. The balls 36 are attracted and held by the permanent magnet 34 on the worm wheel 30 side, so that a case for preventing the balls 36 from coming off the worm wheel 30 can be omitted, whereby the total size and weight can be reduced. Backlash is not required, so that high-speed rotation and high-rigidity rotation are possible.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 17, 2009Publication date: January 6, 2011Applicants: MEKO SEIKI INC., TSUDAKOMA KOGYO KABUSHIKI KAISHAInventors: Yoshio Iwase, Masahiro Machida, Yoshihiro Machida

Publication number: 20100188701Abstract: Such a displaying device that can be easily operated by aged persons and handicapped persons, and an image forming apparatus using the same will be provided. Upon continuously operating an upper button for the predetermined period of time, a set value of a magnification is changed at intervals of numeric change that are different from each other between a voice guide mode activated by a voice guide button and a normal mode. At this time, it is configured in such a manner that the interval of numeric change for the normal mode is smaller than the interval of numeric change for the voice guide mode, i.e., the changing rate of the set value of the magnification for the normal mode is larger than that for the voice guide mode.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 5, 2010Publication date: July 29, 2010Inventors: Masahiro MACHIDA, Hidekazu Ozawa, Takao Maekawa, Tetsuya Kobayashi

Patent number: 7739026Abstract: At high temperature, namely, when the temperature of intake air is higher than a predetermined normal temperature range, an ECU (25) controls a variable valve timing mechanism (24) such that the timing for closing an exhaust valve (9) is adjusted to a retard side, thereby reducing the amount of high-temperature internal EGR gas to avoid the occurrence of pre-ignition. At intermediate load and high load, the ECU (25) makes the retard amount of the timing for closing the exhaust valve (9) larger than that at low load, thereby reducing the amount of internal EGR gas. At intermediate load and in an intermediate-revolution range or a high-revolution range, the rotating speed of an electric motor (16) is increased to raise a supercharging pressure exerted by a supercharger (17).Type: GrantFiled: December 18, 2006Date of Patent: June 15, 2010Assignee: Kabushiki Kaisha Toyota JidoshokkiInventors: Hiroshi Kuzuyama, Masahiro Machida

Publication number: 20060098225Abstract: An image forming apparatus provides a job memory function in which, when a job registration button is pressed by a user, a job registration processing section determines the type of operation input by the user. If the operation is one involving connecting to a network, then the job registration processing is forced into termination or, alternatively, the job registration processing section displays a confirmation message on an operation panel prompting the user to confirm whether or not to register the job. Still alternatively, the access destination may be checked against permission information, and if access is permitted to the access destination, the operation involving network connection is registered with the job. When a job reproduction button is pressed, a job execution control section starts reproduction of a job selected by the user. However, if an operation which causes network connection is detected, the job execution control section forcibly terminates reproduction of the job.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 15, 2005Publication date: May 11, 2006Inventor: Masahiro Machida
