  • Publication number: 20060087506
Abstract: A three-dimensional design assisting program in which sheet information is set at the time of editing three-dimensional shape information defining a three-dimensional shape while dividing and that three-dimensional shape is divided. Partial areas can be obtained by dividing the three-dimensional shape by the sheet information without having any effect on shape information defining the three-dimensional shape.

  • Publication number: 20060036771
Abstract: A request for operating a calculation module which calculates processing environments of data processing corresponding to bid plan information is transmitted to an information processing capability providing apparatus which indicates possible conditions on which the data processing can be made and which match to desired conditions for the data processing of an information processing capability delivery and receipt apparatus and contained in the bid plan information and processing environment information calculated and received from the information processing capability providing apparatus is transmitted to the information processing capability delivery and receipt apparatus. The processing environments of the data processing such as stability, accuracy and communication network state are important decision material in decision of a provider which is requested to make the data processing.

  • Publication number: 20050251372
Abstract: An inheritance definition object processor creates an inheritance definition object, an attribute processor creates attributes, and the created inheritance definition object and the attributes are added to a working axis created by a shape creating/editing unit. When creating a shaft from the working axis, the shape creating/editing unit transfers the attributes to the corresponding parts of the shaft, based on the inheritance definition object added to the working axis.

  • Publication number: 20050120057
Abstract: The cost of service provision for data storage is minimized, particularly for temporary storage of data. An information processing device includes: a storage case searching unit that accepts a data storage request from an input interface and searches cases in which data can be stored in a data center having a free capacity of at least the size of the storage data, as indicated in the data storage request and a data center table; a storage cost calculation unit that calculates the storage cost required for each case; a default cost calculation unit that calculates the default cost required for each case; and a case selection unit that calculates the total cost for each case and selects whether the data is stored in the data center or whether a data storage request is made to the data center, according to the case for which the total cost is a minimum.

  • Patent number: 6337685
Abstract: There is provided a three-dimensional model generation system which makes it possible to utilize a former edge of a fillet erased from a geometry as a result of generation of the fillet, as required. When a fillet is designated by an input device, a geometry-generating/editing section fetches a feature corresponding to the designated fillet, via a feature management section. When the feature is a fillet, a former edge data management section obtains former edge data associated with the fillet feature from three-dimensional data storage section, to generate three-dimensional display data. The geometry-generating/editing section utilizes the three-dimensional display data to display a former edge of the fillet on a display, for selection. Thus, the former edge can be dealt with in the same manner as normal edges, which makes it possible to define parameters with reference to the former edge, for a parametric entity function.

  • Patent number: 5784063
Abstract: A geometric constraint memory processing section causes a data memory section to temporarily store geometric constraint conditions inputted by an input unit. A geometric constraint display data processing section creates geometric constraint display data from individual items of geometric constraint data read from this data memory section. An assembly processing unit shifts solid shape data created by a solid shape creating unit within a display space on the basis of the geometric constraint data and thus creates three-dimensional model display data. A display processing unit displays all the geometric constraint conditions in superposition on the three-dimensional model displayed by the three-dimensional model display data.
