  • Patent number: 5471250
Abstract: A digital time base corrector reduces the capacity of a memory to approximately a 1 H of image data while maintains the interleave relationship between a luminance signal and a chrominance signal of a video signal. Polarity data indicating the polarity of a burst signal is generated every 1 H, and a latch circuit is provided for holding and outputting the polarity data during a period of reading image data and polarity data from an image data memory and a sub-carrier phase memory, corresponding to the 1 H in which the polarity data was generated. When dropout occurs in a video signal, the image data and the polarity data are inhibited from being written into the image data memory and the sub-carrier phase memory. When discrepancy is detected between read polarity data and polarity data held in the latch circuit, the color phase of the read image data is inverted.

  • Patent number: 5264053
Abstract: A production method for an endless track bushing wherein high-carbon low-alloy steel is selected as a bushing material, the bushing material is quench-hardened without pre-carburizing the bushing material, and then tempered. In the quench-hardening, the bushing material is induction-heated from an outside surface of the bushing material only so that an inside surface of the bushing material is heated to a temperature above and close to a transformation temperature of the high-carbon low-alloy steel, and then the heated bushing material is cooled from the outside surface of the bushing material only so that a residual compressive stress is produced at the inside surface of the bushing material when it has been cooled to an ambient temperature. The thus produced bushing has a high hardness throughout the entire cross section and a high toughness.

  • Patent number: 4947394
Abstract: In a monitor circuit, bipolar-to-unipolar (B/U) converters are respectively connected to spare channels to convert bipolar test signals of pseudo-random sequence received therethrough to RZ (return-to-zero) signals and thereafter to NRZ signals. Each B/U converter includes a clock recovery circuit recover clock pulses from the RZ signal. The original pseudo-random sequence is recovered from successive instants of the NRZ signal of each B/U converter in response to successive clock pulses. Divide-by-M counters are respectively connected to the clock recovery circuits to generate low frequency clock pulses, which drive D flip-flops to convert the bit pattern of each pseudo-random sequence so that the edges of the binary digits in the converted sequence has a sufficient timing margin with respect to a sampling point at which mismatch is detected between the sequences derived from the space channels.
