  • Patent number: 11908676
Abstract: The xenon lamp for a projector, the xenon lamp comprises a light-emitting tube and an anode and a cathode that are arranged inside the light-emitting tube so as to face each other through a gap in a first direction, the anode including: a body part and a chip part whose cross-sectional area cut along a first plane orthogonal to the first direction is smaller than the cross-sectional area of the body part, the chip part including: a first part joined to the body part, the first part protruding toward the cathode and having a tapered shape; and a second part joined to the first part, the second part protruding toward the cathode and having a shape such that an angle of inclination of an outer profile of the second part differs from an angle of inclination of an outer profile of the first part.

  • Patent number: 10553419
Abstract: An electrode module includes an electrode and a core wire inserted into a core wire insertion hole of the electrode. When inserting the core wire into the core wire insertion hole of the electrode, the core wire can be inserted smoothly, thereby avoiding occurrence of chipping or cracking in the core wire insertion hole. A low-friction layer is provided on the inner surface of the core wire insertion hole of the electrode and/or the outer periphery of the inserted portion of the core wire.

  • Publication number: 20120119644
Abstract: A xenon short-arc lamp includes an arc tube containing a first electrode and a second electrode, sealing tubes on both edges of the arc tube and supporting tubes that are supported in the sealing tubes. Core rods of the first electrode and the second electrode are inserted through and supported by the supporting tubes. A high alternating voltage is applied at the start of the lighting. A trigger wire that is electrically connected to the first electrode is wound around an outer surface of the second electrode side sealing tube at an arc tube side position other than a location of the sealing tube that faces the metal foil. The trigger wire may be wound around an rising part of the arc tube.
