Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a mounting unit to which a developer container is mounted, a controller to control a motor to rotate the mounted container, and a sensor to detect a predetermined portion in which the mounted container is rotated. The controller determines whether the container is mounted based on the detection result of the sensor, wherein the controller controls the motor based on the detection result so that a rotation speed of the mounted container is equal to a predetermined rotation speed. After a door is opened, in a case where, while communication between a communication unit and a memory is maintained, a detection result of the sensor is changed from a first detection result in which the predetermined portion is detected to a second detection result in which the predetermined portion is not detected, the controller determines the mounted container has been manually rotated.

Abstract: Provided is an image forming apparatus including: a rotation detection sensor configured to detect rotation of a toner bottle mounted to a mounting unit; a reader configured to communicate to/from a memory mounted to the toner bottle; a controller; and a display. The controller determines whether or not the toner bottle is mounted to the mounting unit based on a detection result obtained by the rotation detection sensor and a communication state of the reader. When determining that the toner bottle has been removed from the mounting unit while a replacement condition for the toner bottle is not satisfied, the controller displays a warning screen for prompting a user to reattach the toner bottle on the display.

A common mode choke coil has a third coil, a fourth coil, and a second core. The common mode choke coil reduces a common mode noise. The switching transformer and the common mode choke coil are mounted on a substrate so that a direction of the magnetic flux generated in the first core and a direction of a magnetic flux generated in the second core are perpendicular.
