The metal fitting has a base and a soldering section for soldering to a circuit board. The base has a smaller width than the soldering section. The soldering section extends from a substantial center of the base with respect to the width thereof. The soldering section and a portion of the base extend approximately perpendicular to and away from a bottom of the sidewall of the housing. The sidewall of the housing has a solder viewing section at each side of the base. The solder viewing section retracts inward as the solder viewing section approaches the soldering section to expose the soldering section at the bottom of the sidewall of the housing.

  • Patent number: 6972783
Abstract: A plurality of beams scan the photosensitive body or the like so that a high quality image whose streak is not recognized by a human eye can be formed. 2m lines are formed simultaneously in Nth time, (N+1)-th time, and (N+2)-th time scannings respectively. At this point, the m lines are fed in a sub-scanning direction at each termination of one-time scanning, and the next scanning is performed. Accordingly, a region which is exposed twice between the scannings is generated at an m-line period.

  • Patent number: 6969276
Abstract: A metal terminal has a terminal body having a crimp part crimped to a wire and a fastening part connected to the terminal body through breaking parts. The fastening part has a through-hole for passage of a bolt. The metal terminal further includes a co-fastening part formed in the terminal body. The tip side of the co-fastening part is fastened to a vehicle body by the bolt, together with the fastening part. When detaching the terminal body from the vehicle body, one side of the one terminal body is pulled up in a direction opposite to the fastening direction of the bolt under condition that the fastening part and the co-fastening part are together fastened by the bolt. Consequently, the co-fastening part is released from its fastened condition and a breaking force is applied on the breaking parts.

  • Patent number: 6459502
Abstract: The invention provides an image formation device based on the electrophotographic system, whereby, when an outputted image varies from the halftone area to the background area in the sub-scanning direction, the density reduction of a rear end area of the halftone area that borders on the background area can be prevented, by means of simplified and small-scale processing. In this image formation device, a backward edge of the halftone area that borders on the background area is extracted, and an image data value of the background area including m pixels after this backward edge in the sub-scanning direction, of input image data Si, is modified to a setting value with correction data. The setting value is set to a value slightly lower than the threshold value corresponding to the dot area coverage of an image recurrence start point.

  • Patent number: 6233062
Abstract: It is made possible to prevent decrease in the density due to the image output characteristic of the image output unit in the subscanning direction by means of a method according to the present invention capable of real-time processing without causing the circuit capacity and the memory to be increased. In an image input unit 100, the input image data is acquired so that its time series direction becomes a direction indicated by an arrow 42 corresponding to the subscanning direction of an image output unit 300. The input image data from the image input unit 100 is corrected in accordance with the image output characteristic of the image output unit 300 in the subscanning direction. The image data after the correction is rotationally processed so that its time series direction becomes a direction indicated by an arrow 41 corresponding to the main scanning direction of the image output unit 300. The image data after the rotary processing is sent to the image output unit 300.

  • Patent number: 6044204
Abstract: To prevent the density of a low density part when an output image varies from the low density part to a high density part in a vertical scanning direction from being lowered without expanding an image forming apparatus or an image output device and increasing the cost, an image processing section first extracts an edge picture element of the low density part which is in contact with the high density part when an image output based upon input image data Si varies from the low density part to the high density part in the vertical scanning direction or from the high density part to the low density part in the vertical scanning direction.

  • Patent number: 6014457
Abstract: An image processing apparatus for converting input color image signals to image recording signals to be sent to an image forming apparatus. The image processing apparatus comprises: a first color converting unit for converting the input color image signals to three-variable color signals independent of devices; a second color converting unit for converting the three-variable color signals to the image recording signals; and a parameter determining unit for determining parameters of the first color converting unit. The parameter determining unit determines the parameters so as to make characteristic colors in the input color image signals coincide with predetermined colors and to maintain linearities of color reproduction characteristics of an output image from the image forming apparatus.
