Patent number: 11732711Abstract: In an external gear pump, a first bushing of a rotational shaft of a first gear has a second surface facing to a first surface of a pump body. A recess for supplying high-pressure lubricating oil between an inner circumferential surface of the first bushing and an outer circumferential surface of the rotational shaft is opened on the inner circumferential surface within a low pressure range associating with an inlet chamber of fluid. A bushing-side supply passage for supplying the high-pressure lubricating oil to the recess is formed within the first bushing. A bushing-side inlet port of the bushing-side supply passage is opened on the second surface within a high pressure range associating with an outlet chamber of the fluid. A body-side supply passage for supplying the high-pressure lubricating oil to a body-side supply port opened on the first surface is formed within the pump body.Type: GrantFiled: July 28, 2021Date of Patent: August 22, 2023Assignee: IHI CorporationInventors: Masahiro Tanida, Takashi Sato, Kenji Takamiya, Akihiro Shimamura, Naoki Seki

Patent number: 8928195Abstract: On an inner circumference side of a stator fixed in an inner housing, a rotor is arranged. The rotor rotates through a bearing with respect to a center shaft that is a stationary shaft fixed to outer housings. Oil introduced into a rotor oil inlet path in the center shaft flows through a communication path and a clearance on an outer circumference of the center shaft into an oil path in the rotor. The oil flowing through the oil path cools a permanent magnet, lubricates the bearing, and is discharged from a rotor oil discharge port to the outside of the inner housing. The oil in the clearance is sealed with a thread seal, i.e., an inner thread formed in an inner face of an end ring and is prevented from flowing toward the bearing.Type: GrantFiled: April 22, 2011Date of Patent: January 6, 2015Assignee: IHI CorporationInventors: Satoru Ohashi, Norihisa Handa, Shusaku Yamasaki, Masahiro Tanida, Koushi Ishimoto, Motoaki Shito

Publication number: 20130278091Abstract: A rotary machine capable of preventing leakage of a coolant and simply and efficiently cooling a rotor is provided. A motor 1 has a rotor 20 made by laminating magnetic steel sheets, a stator 30 arranged around the rotor 20, a rotary shaft 10 passed through a central part of the rotor 20, and an annular sleeve 27 arranged between the rotary shaft 10 and the rotor 20. On an outer circumferential face of the rotary shaft 10, a groove 12 serving as a coolant flow path for guiding a coolant is formed. The groove 12 may be formed only on the outer circumferential face of the rotary shaft 10, or only on an inner circumferential face of the sleeve 27, or on both the outer circumferential face of the rotary shaft 10 and the inner circumferential face of the sleeve 27.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 22, 2011Publication date: October 24, 2013Applicant: IHI CorporationInventors: Satoru Ohashi, Shusaku Yamasaki, Norihisa Handa, Masahiro Tanida

Patent number: 6268333Abstract: A fragrance composition which contains 1,3-dimethoxy-5-methylbenzene in an amount of from 0.01 to 30% by weight as a fragrance modifier that provides a sedative effect. 1,3-Dimethoxy-5-methylbenzene used in the present invention can exhibit a sedative effect not only by itself but also when mixed with various formulations of jasmine, floral and the like types having stimulative effects. Also, since a single chemical is used as an active ingredient, the present invention is more effective than the sedative function of natural essential oil from a viewpoint of sedation. In addition, since 1,3-dimethoxy-5-methylbenzene itself has a mild scent, its sedative effect can be obtained without altering original fragrance of interest.Type: GrantFiled: February 17, 1995Date of Patent: July 31, 2001Assignees: Takasago International Corporation, Shiseido Company, LimitedInventors: Yoshiro Okazaki, Yasuhiro Takashima, Shoji Nakamura, Katsuyuki Yomogida, Masahiro Tanida
