  • Patent number: 11942597
Abstract: Provided are: a solid-state battery in which an initial load is applied to a battery cell; and a solid-state battery module comprised of the battery. This solid-state battery includes a pressing portion provided on a solid-state battery case so that a spring force is utilized to apply the initial load to the solid-state battery. Specifically, the solid-state battery includes a solid-state battery cell, and a battery case for accommodating the solid-state battery cell, in which the solid-state battery cell is a stack including a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a solid electrolyte present between the positive electrode and the negative electrode, and in which a face constituting the battery case and extending substantially perpendicular to the stacking direction of the stack has a pressing portion.

  • Patent number: 5925283
Abstract: The present invention relates to an ionically conductive polymeric gel electrolyte for batteries having high ionic conductivity and sufficiently high solid strength. The invention has an object to provide a solid battery which prevents internal short-circuiting even if no diaphragm is used and which has high reliability, by using the ionically conductive polymeric gel electrolyte. Disclosed is an ionically conductive polymeric gel electrolyte, containing at least a polymer matrix, a non-aqueous electrolytic solution and an electrolytic salt, wherein at least one kind of a halogen-substituted carbonic ester is contained as a solvent of the non-aqueous electrolytic solution. Also disclosed is a solid battery having the ionically conductive polymeric gel electrolyte as a constituent.
