    Abstract: A hole-forming machine for forming a through-hole (75) in a workpiece (66) by directing laser light (70) from the exterior of the workpiece into a hollow part (67). The machine includes a vibrating mechanism (56) for causing vibration in a filler (65) which fills the hollow part of the workpiece (66) and which is not melted by the laser light, the vibrating mechanism being disposed so as to be in contact with the filler.
