  • Patent number: 6113063
Abstract: The object of the present invention is to provide an actuator possible to transmit an output from a power rod of the actuator as rotary motion, and to provide an exhaust brake unit using the actuator, easy to assemble, a small space necessary for installation, able to place the actuator in such a manner that an axis of a power rod of the actuator and an axis of a valve shaft are aligned in a line, and heat transfer from an exhaust channel to the actuator is minimized.

  • Patent number: 6011518
Abstract: In the vehicle antenna, a GPS antenna, a radio wave beacon antenna for VICS/automatic rate, and an optical beacon antenna are incorporated into between the mirror of a room mirror and a cover and they are united together into an integrated body. The vehicle antenna is structured such that it is allowed to transmit and receive signals with respect to a GPS, a VICS/automatic rate beacon, and an optical beacon through the windshield of a vehicle. This structure eliminates the need to install the respective antennas of the vehicle antenna onto a vehicle body and an instrumental panel, thereby being able to improve the appearance of the interior of the vehicle. Also, since the vehicle antenna is incorporated in the room mirror, the vehicle antenna is not visible directly to the eyes of a driver and is kept from reflecting its shade into the windshield to thereby prevent interference with the driving operation of the driver.

  • Patent number: 5936317
Abstract: A power supply unit is provided between a car-carried battery and load units, such as a light control unit. The power supply unit is connected to the load units through a multi-signal line. The power supply unit calculates a consumption current consumed by the load unit using an operating state of the load unit which is received through the multi-signal line from the load control unit associated with the load unit. The power supply unit compares the calculated consumption current with a supplying current supplied form the battery. If the supplying current is excessively large, the power supply unit interrupts the supply of current from the battery to the load unit. Therefore, the power supply device can detect a phenomenon, for example, a rare short of an extremely short shorting time.

  • Patent number: 5917252
Abstract: Lamps LP1-LP9 are connected in a matrix form. Control devices Tr1-Tr6 are installed on connecting wires of the lines and rows of the matrix used for connecting the lamps LP1-LP9, respectively. Each of the connecting wires L1-L3 on each line is connected to a power supply Vcc via each of the control devices Tr1-Tr3. Further, each of the connecting wires L4-L6 is connected to the ground via each of the control devices Tr4-Tr6. Then the plurality of loads are connected to the control devices Tr1-Tr6 so as to control the loads by the control devices Tr1-Tr6, the number of which is smaller than the number of loads.
