  • Patent number: 8689144
Abstract: The present invention provides an electronic apparatus having a superiority in a selecting operation to an object. When contents of documents having a plurality of objects are displayed, a default focus is automatically given to one object located near to a display center by a focus control program. When the display is scrolled by cursor keys of a remote controller, objects to be given the focus are sequentially changed in conjunction with the scroll.

  • Patent number: 7660848
Abstract: An instant messaging communication system including information terminals and an instant messaging server is provided. The information terminals are configurable for use by searching users or search target users. The information terminal of a searching user acquires, from the instant messaging server, search target user information, and searches the search target user information for a search target user matching a profile created by the searching user. The information terminal of a search target user registers the search target user profile with the instant messenger server. The instant messenger server is a conduit among the searching users and the search target users, automatically sending updated information to the searching users upon registering a new search target user or updating the information of a search target user. Because the terminals perform the search and the server acts as a conduit, reliability and efficiency of the instant messenger network is improved.

  • Publication number: 20050060379
Abstract: In an IM communication system, an IM client of a user behaves as either a client of a searching person or a client of a search target person. The IM client of the search target person registers user information inclusive of a self PSID list in a user management database of an IM server. The IM client of the searching person acquires, from the IM server, the user information including the search target person PSID list and registered in the user management database, and finds any search target person coincident in regard to the PSID. And upon finding any satisfactory search target person, the searching person sends a request to the search target person for transmitting the PD, then collates the received PD with the self PD, and specifies the target person who satisfies the desired condition.

  • Patent number: 4513753
Abstract: A heartbeat rate indicator has a detection electrode on the surface of the housing such as a wristwatch case and the element of a circuit-input portion in which the existence of a switch connected to the detection electrode prevents the element from destroying with electrostatic charge produced at the moment of touching the detection electrode with the human body, the clothes or the like.Because in the non-depression state of the detection electrode, the detection electrode is connected elastically through the switch to one terminal of a power source so that the electrostatic charge produced at the moment of touching the detection electrode with the human body discharges to the one terminal of the power source.
