  • Patent number: 11701943
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a hollow spring member having a hollow steel spring rod having terminal sealed portions at both ends thereof. Each terminal sealed portion has a rotationally symmetric shape in which an axis passing through a center of the spring rod is an axis of symmetry. Each terminal sealed portion has an end wall portion including an end face; an arc-shaped smoothly curved surface between an outer peripheral surface of the spring rod and the end face, and a hermetically closed distal-end-center closure portion on the axis passing through the center of the spring rod. The method includes forming each of the end portions of the spring rod by forming a chamfered portion on an inner or outer peripheral side of the end portion of a hollow wire, the end portion having an opening portion at a distal end, heating the end portion of the hollow wire having the chamfered portion, and spinning the heated end portion to be gathered toward the axis from the outer peripheral side by a jig.

  • Publication number: 20190030979
Abstract: On an end portion of a hollow rod, which is a material of a hollow coil spring, a terminal sealed portion is formed. The terminal sealed portion has a rotationally symmetric shape in which an axis passing through the center of the rod is a symmetric axis. The terminal sealed portion includes an end wall portion, and a distal-end-center closure portion formed on the axis. In the distal-end-center closure portion, a distal end opening portion of the spin-formed rod is joined together and formed as an integral part. On the axis at the inner surface of the end wall portion, a recess having a rotationally symmetric shape in which the axis is the symmetric axis is formed. A thickness of the recess of the end wall portion is reduced toward the axis.

  • Publication number: 20070176340
Abstract: In a compression coil spring device, suitable for use in a strut wheel suspension system, including a coil wire wound into a coil having an end turn, the end turn is adapted to be supported by a spring seat at one or a plurality of discrete points. This can be accomplished either by providing a plurality of projections on the coil wire along the length of the coil wire of the end turn, with the remainder of the coil wire being substantially free of projections, or by providing a plurality of projections for supporting the end turn at one or a plurality of discrete points of the spring seat. Thus, the spring demonstrates the same property with regard to the centroid of contact pressure or line of action of the spring force, and the spring constant, without regard to the spring load as long as the spring end is supported by the same discrete contact point or points.

  • Patent number: H1062
Abstract: An apparatus for sticking onto a screen plate a photosensitive laminated film obtained by forming a layer of a photosensitive agent on one surface of a base film, wherein a blade is provided on the front side of rollers that hold the photosensitive laminated film to press-adhere said photosensitive laminated film onto the screen plate. The tip of the blade presses the photosensitive laminated film onto the screen plate such that an angle is defined between the photosensitive laminated film and the screen plate to get rid of the air. Therefore, no bubbles are trapped therebetween.
