  • Patent number: 6681361
Abstract: A semiconductor device handler includes a handler section and a measurement section. A reference sample is mounted into a plurality of DUT sections provided in the measurement section. A prescribed test item of the reference sample is stored. A test item with regard to the reference sample is measured and the results of the measurement are stored. Difference values are calculated between the measured value of the reference sample in each of the DUT sections and the stored prescribed test item's values of the reference sample. A compensation value is determined for each of the DUT sections. The compensation values established for each DUT section are used in executing prescribed inspection processing for each semiconductor device unit under test in each DUT section. A prescribed characteristics value is determined for each of the semiconductor devices. The devices under test are classified into prescribed categories according to the inspection results.

  • Patent number: 5834621
Abstract: A novel sulfur-containing compound represented by the general formula (I): ##STR1## wherein n is an integer from 0 to 2; R represents a hydrogen atom, a vinyl group, a methacryloyl group, a vinylbenzyl group, a glycidyl group, an acryloyl group or an allyl group; and the case where n is 0 and R is a hydrogen atom is excluded, and a method for preparing said sulfur-containing compound. The novel sulfur-containing compound of the present invention can be copolymerized with various copolymerizable compounds to yield excellent hardened products of high refractive index. The novel sulfur-containing compound of the present invention can therefore be used as a very useful monomer for the production of optical materials, paints, adhesives, sealants, etc. having excellent properties.

  • Patent number: 5634030
Abstract: A semiconductor memory device has an address generating system for a burst access mode, and the address generating system previously generates the next internal address through an exclusive-OR operation during supply of a present internal address, thereby quickly changing the internal address in synchronism with an internal clock signal.

  • Patent number: 5298630
Abstract: A 2-alkylthiobenzaldehyde of general formula (I) is reacted with a halo compound of general formula (II) to produce a 2-substituted benzo[b]thiophene of general formula (III): ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 means an alkyl group of 1 to 4 carbon atoms,X.sup.1 CH.sub.2 Y (II)wherein X.sup.1 means Cl or Br; Y means --CO.sub.2 H, --CO.sub.2 R.sup.2, --COR.sup.2, --CONH.sub.2 or --CN; R.sup.2 means an alkyl group of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, ##STR2## wherein Y is as defined above. The process of this invention is of great economic and industrial value, for 2-acetylbenzo[b]thiophene and 2-benzo[b]thiophenecarboxylic acid, which are important intermediates for drugs and agricultural chemicals among others, can be obtained in a simple manner, easily and in high yield.
