  • Patent number: 9607739
Abstract: Provided is a method capable of reducing the amount of a coating part remaining between a conductor and a bonding object. A chip comes closer to an anvil so that the flat cable and the terminal are sandwiched between the chip and the anvil. The flat cable and the terminal are pressed so as to come close to each other. When the chip ultrasonically vibrates, vibrations of the chip propagate to the terminal, causing the terminal to ultrasonically vibrate. Then heat is generated in a plate part by friction between the chip and the plate part. The coating part being positioned between the conductor and the plate part melts from the generated heat and is removed. Thereby the conductor and the plate part come into contact with each other resulting in a solid-phase bonding together.

  • Publication number: 20120187899
Abstract: A power supply system that supplies electric power to a load apparatus includes a power storage device, a voltage sensor, a current sensor, and an ECU. The ECU calculates an internal resistance value of the power storage device based on the detected voltage and the detected current, and determines whether the power storage device includes a power storage device that differs from an authorized power storage device, by comparing the calculated internal resistance value with a preset reference value.

  • Patent number: 7964985
Abstract: When an ignition key is turn ON, an ECU drives a bidirectional DC/DC converter to charge a capacitor to a voltage Vth1. The ECU turns on a first relay only and diagnoses whether or not a second relay, which is off, is welded, based on a change in a voltage VL at that time. After the diagnosis on welding, the ECU turns on the second relay, and the capacitor is charged to a voltage level of a main power storage device.

  • Patent number: 7845861
Abstract: To provide an optical module capable of improving the workability for a circuit substrate, in the rear of a shield case (22), a pressing portion (27) for holding an FOT (6) is formed to press a back surface of a package portion (9) of the FOT (6). In the rear of the shield case (22), a stress countermeasure portion (28) is formed to distribute or mitigate a stress occurring due to deformation and displacement of the pressing portion (27). The stress countermeasure portion (28) is formed between the pressing portion (27) and a substrate connection portion (16). The stress countermeasure portion (28) is formed in the vicinity of the pressing portion (27). In a small space between a base (or bend portion) of the pressing portion (27) and the stress countermeasure portion (28), the force in a twist direction acts due to the occurred stress. This force is distributed or absorbed according to presence and shape of the stress countermeasure portion (28).
