  • Patent number: 5113957
Abstract: A control device controls the draft for moving the working machine, such as a plow, up or down. The working machine is mounted on a tractor by way of a hydraulic lifting device which is adjusted to the tilling depth predetermined by a tilling depth setter which depends on the increase or decrease of traction resistance detected by a draft sensor. When the lifting machine is changed from the ascending position to the descending position, the draft control function is stopped for a specified short time or a specified short distance to lower the working machine quickly. However, the quick lowering of the working machine is inhibited when the relationship between the detected value by the draft sensor and the preset value by the tilling depth setter is not at the descending position of the working machine.

  • Patent number: 5050304
Abstract: A hair clipper includes a cutter head and a hair entrapping member which is movable toward and away from a cutting edge of the cutter head. The cutter head comprises a stationary blade with a toothed edge defining a cutting edge of the cutter head and a movable blade with a like toothed edge. The movable blade is driven to reciprocate in shearing engagement between the toothed edges of the stationary and movable blades for shearing hairs therebetween. The hair entrapping member is preferably in the form of a comb which is movable between an open position and a closed position. In the open position the comb is spaced away from the cutting edge of the cutter head, thus permitting hairs to enter between the comb and the cutting edge. In the closed position, the comb is held close to the cutting edge to thereby seize the hairs therebetween for shearing the hairs.

  • Patent number: 4888870
Abstract: A hair trimmer includes a cutting head 20 with an outer shearing foil 21 and an inner cutter 30 in hair shearing engagement with the shearing foil 21. The cutting head 20 is characterizee to have a hair guide surface 24 on its top and a skin engaging comb 40 for contact with the skin of the user. A number of hair introducing perforations 22 are formed in a portion 25 of the outer shearing foil 21 which is located below the hair guide surface 24 and extends in an inclined relation with respect thereto. The cutting head 20 is adapted in use to be advanced along the hair strands toward the tips thereof with the skin engaging comb 40 ahead of the hair guide surface 24. During this movement, the hair strands are combed into between the hair guide surface 24 and the skin and are then flexed outwardly upon leaving the hair guide surface 24 such that the tips of the hair strands are fed ito the perforations 22 in the inclined portion 25 behind the hair guide surface 24 in the advancing direction of the cutter head.

  • Patent number: 4131121
Abstract: A method of setting durable curls in hairs in which a flow of simultaneously warmed and humidified air is applied to rolled hairs. A device for performing the method comprises a base body, a stand erected on the base body preferably in a manner foldable in the base body and a hood of substantially semi-spherical shape for defining an optimum hair setting atmosphere therein and coupled rotatably to upper end of the stay, air warming and humidifying mechanism secured outside the hood adjacent mounting position thereof to the stand for blowing warmed and humidified air inside the hood preferably from ceiling to downward open edge of the hood along inner wall thereof, and means for controlling the mechanism and disposed in the base body for easy access. In an optimum structure of the device, the base body is of a disk shape complementing the circular open end of the hood, so that when the stand is folded and the hood is rotated over the base body the hood will cover the base body compactly for storing.
