Patent number: 11413485Abstract: A sprinkler head includes a main body, a valve element, a heat-sensitive disassembling unit, a deflector, at least one strut, and a guide ring. The body includes a nozzle from which fire-extinguishing liquid is discharged. The disassembling unit keeps the nozzle closed with the valve element and opens the nozzle through a breakdown action during activation. The deflector has a receiving surface (valve-element supporting portion) and vanes extending from the receiving surface toward the body. The deflector scatters, outward in axis crossing directions of the nozzle, the fire-extinguishing liquid discharged from the nozzle and received by the receiving surface. The least one strut holds the deflector scattering the fire-extinguishing liquid. The guide ring is movable along the at least one strut and between a tip (main-body-side end portion) of the at least one strut and tips of the vanes.Type: GrantFiled: July 8, 2020Date of Patent: August 16, 2022Assignee: SENJU SPRINKLER CO., LTD.Inventors: Masakatsu Kikuchi, Yutaka Tateishi, Masashi Murakami, Yuki Iizawa

Patent number: 11311759Abstract: A sprinkler head includes a main body, a valve element, a heat-sensitive disassembling unit, a cylindrical frame, a set pin between the valve element and the disassembling unit, and a spring member engaged with the pin. The body includes a nozzle from which fire-extinguishing liquid is discharged. The disassembling unit includes a plunger having an interior circumferential surface. The disassembling unit keeps the nozzle closed with the valve element and opens the nozzle through a breakdown action during activation. The frame includes an upper part connected to the body and a lower part engaged with the disassembling unit. The pin includes a leg inserted in the plunger and including an inclined surface and a straight portion closer to the valve element. The straight portion is in contact with and slidable over the circumferential surface. The breakdown action causes the pin to move, with the inclined surface contacting the circumferential surface.Type: GrantFiled: July 8, 2020Date of Patent: April 26, 2022Assignee: SENJU SPRINKLER CO., LTD.Inventors: Masakatsu Kikuchi, Yutaka Tateishi, Yuki Iizawa, Masashi Murakami

Publication number: 20180304111Abstract: A sprinkler head employing balls for a heat-sensitive disassembling unit is provided, in which the time period from when a fusible alloy starts to melt until when the sprinkler head is activated is shortened. A sprinkler head includes a frame having a stepped portion projecting inward. The stepped portion has an upper inclined surface provided at the inner-peripheral upper edge thereof and with which balls come into contact, and a guide part provided at the inner-peripheral lower edge thereof and that allows any of the balls that is displaced from the upper inclined surface to move downward from the stepped portion. When a fusible alloy melts, the ball displaced from the upper inclined surface moves along the guide part and is quickly released to the outside of the frame. Hence, the time period from when the fusible alloy starts to melt until when the sprinkler head is activated is shortened.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 21, 2018Publication date: October 25, 2018Applicants: SENJU SPRINKLER CO., LTD., NOHMI BOSAI LTD.Inventors: Yukinori Karihara, Masakatsu Kikuchi, Takumi Ishikawa, Masashi Murakami

Patent number: 4826239Abstract: A T-bar roof wherein a bracket is secured to one edge of a glass window using a bolt and a urethane resin adhesive and the bracket is detachably disposed on a roof frame of an automotive vehicle. A quick-drying adhesive is applied to the area between the bracket and the glass window so as to temporarily secure these two members. Thus, it is possible to transport or mount the window glass on a vehicle without waiting for the urethane resin adhesive to set.Type: GrantFiled: August 6, 1987Date of Patent: May 2, 1989Assignee: Aisin Seiki Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Kazuhiro Nishikawa, Masakatsu Kikuchi, Masuo Shimomura
