  • Publication number: 20120069446
Abstract: According to one embodiment, an automotive display apparatus includes an image projection unit and a control unit. The image projection unit is configured to project a light flux including an image by using a reflecting unit to reflect the light flux. The control unit is configured to control an operation of the image projection unit so that the image projection unit moves a projection region of the light flux by an amount substantially proportional to (Vc)2×? from a predetermined initial position in a horizontal direction orthogonal to an optical axis of the light flux projected toward the predetermined initial position, where the Vc is a velocity of a vehicle and the ? is a steering angle of the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20080259748
Abstract: An optical disc includes a SPOKE potion for detecting a position in a circumferential direction of the optical disc, which is formed on an inner or outer circumferential side relative to a data recording area and visible image drawing area. A signal portion in which each signal is constituted by a pair of light nonreflecting portion and light reflecting portion is formed in the SPOKE portion. The signal portion includes a first signal portion in which signal widths of the nonreflecting portion and reflecting portion are the same and a second signal portion in which the signal widths of the nonreflecting portion and reflecting portion are changed.

  • Publication number: 20060104169
Abstract: An optical disk drive includes a pickup main body that radiates a laser beam to a surface or a region of an optical disk, where no track information is present, thereby recording and/or reproducing predetermined information on the surface or the region, and that is movable in a radial direction of the optical disk, a position sensor for detecting movement and/or a position of the pickup main body, and a control unit that controls the position of the pickup main body and/or an objective lens on the basis of information relating to the movement and/or position of the pickup main body that is detected by the position sensor.

  • Publication number: 20050265145
Abstract: An optical disk includes a label recording surface capable of recording a visible image using laser beam, and an information recording surface on which information is formed as marks on a track. Settings of circuit elements such as a switching unit and a digital equalizer included in a tracking control circuit for use at the times of recording and reproducing of the information with respect to the information recording surface are changed to constitute a feed motor control section. At the time of label recording, a position of an pickup in a radial direction of the disk is controlled using a feed motor control section, and the laser beam corresponding to image data input from a host device is produced to form the visible image on the label recording surface.
