  • Publication number: 20070090834
Abstract: A flaw detection apparatus for a wire rope of an elevator according to the present invention, which is intended for a wire rope having a nominal diameter of 4 mm to 8 mm, includes a plurality of unit probes 9. Each of the unit probes 9 has a first and a second magnetic poles 10a and 10b of different polarity, and a magnetic sensor 11 of a U-shape disposed between the first magnetic pole 10a and the second magnetic pole 10b. A bottom radius of the magnetic sensor 11 is in a range of 2 mm to 5 mm. A difference between the bottom radius of the magnetic sensor 11 and a half of the nominal diameter of a wire rope 1 is equal to or less than 1.5 mm.

  • Patent number: 7090056
Abstract: A double deck elevator including a winding machine which lifts up/down a cage frame loaded with two cages in a vertical direction, a cage driving unit which changes a relative distance between upper and lower cages, and a cage position controller which starts an inter-cage distance adjustment operation of the cage driving unit almost at the same time when the winding machine is shifted from an acceleration operation to a constant velocity operation, and changes an operating velocity of the inter-cage distance adjustment operation corresponding to a destination floor almost at the same time when the winding machine changes from the constant velocity operation to a deceleration operation after the destination floor is determined, whereby completing the inter-cage distance adjustment operation almost at the same time when the winding machine stops.

  • Patent number: 6420167
Abstract: To make organic fertilizer by performing fermentation treatment of organic waste containing a large quantity of water content such as garbage, while maintaining conditions of treatment suitable for fermentation. A fermentation treatment apparatus of organic waste according to the present invention is constituted in such a way that a steam supply pipe 3 is connected to a jacket part 2 of a fermentation tank 1 by way of reducing valves 17 and 18, and a vacuum pump 4 is connected below the jacket part 2 by way of a communicating line 27. When steam reduced in pressure lower than 100° C. is supplied into the jacket part 2, the waste housed within the fermentation tank 1 can be promptly treated with fermentation by utilizing condensation heat of steam. Furthermore, the air at a predetermined humidity is supplied into the fermentation tank 1 from the air supply part 36, so that fermentation treatment due to aerobic bacteria can be performed in a short time and efficiently.

  • Patent number: 5209284
Abstract: A heat treating device used in chemical and food industries, including a heat exchanger of jacket type, for example, which surrounds a reaction vessel, wherein heat media such as steam and water are fed to the heat exchanger and also sucked by sucking means such as an ejector to put the interior of the heat exchanger in a reduced pressure state, thereby effecting heat treatment at relatively low temperature below 100.degree. C., for example, the improvement of which is to prevent variation of the reduced pressure level in the heat exchanger for keeping stability of treating temperature.

  • Patent number: 4898022
Abstract: A steam trap operation detector provided with a vibration detecting section and a arithmetric section. The detecting section includes a probe, a diaphragm for generating ultrasonic vibration in response to mechanical vibrations sensed by the probe and a vibration sensor for converting the ultrasonic vibration into an electrical signal. The detector also includes an arthimetric section for receiving an amplified signal from the vibration sensor and processing the same into information indicative of the operation of the steam trap.

  • Patent number: 4304197
Abstract: A condensate recovery system wherein a condensate receiver is provided between a boiler and a feed water tank with condensate being introduced into the condensate receiver during a period when water is not being fed to the boiler and with water being fed into the boiler during a subsequent feeding period by pumping make-up water into the condensate receiver. The system is arranged so that equalizing the pressure of the condensate inlet port of the condensate receiver with that at the low temperature water outlet port of the condensate receiver allows condensate to flow by gravity and replace low temperature water therein, leaving the condensate receiver filled with water.
