  • Publication number: 20230234476
Abstract: A control apparatus for a vehicle is provided. The vehicle includes a storage battery that stores therein electric power that is supplied from an external power supply apparatus and a rotating electric machine that is driven by electric power from the storage battery. The control apparatus includes a temperature adjusting unit that adjusts a temperature of the storage battery. The temperature adjusting unit performs an internal temperature adjustment process that is a process for adjusting the temperature of the storage battery using energy other than the electric power supplied from the power supply apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20220258714
Abstract: A control system controls power supply in a vehicle. The control system includes sub-power managers and an integrated power manager. The sub-power managers control respective output power of a plurality of subsystems that actualize functions of the vehicle. The integrated power manager performs integrated control of output power in the overall vehicle by exchanging information with the plurality of sub-power managers. The information that is exchanged between the plurality of sub-power managers and the integrated power manager includes information that enables calculation of a physical quantity that is expressed by at least either of a power dimension and an energy dimension.

  • Publication number: 20220258715
Abstract: A control system includes: a plurality of sub-power managers that control respective output power of a plurality of subsystems that actualize functions of the vehicle; and an integrated power manager that performs integrated control of output power in an overall vehicle by exchanging information. The plurality of subsystems respectively corresponds to a plurality of domains that include one or apparatuses and a storage unit. Information that is exchanged between the plurality of sub-power managers and the integrated power manager is information that enables calculation of a physical quantity that is expressed by at least either of a power dimension and an energy dimension. The integrated power manager determines an input/output-power limit value of each subsystem by performing arbitration of requested power values that are received from the sub-power managers based on subsystem priority levels that are priority levels of the plurality of subsystems.

  • Patent number: 9409564
Abstract: A vehicle is equipped with an engine, a motor generator, an electricity storing part, and an air-conditioning part. A control device for the vehicle includes: a determining portion that determines whether the vehicle approaches a destination; an estimating portion that estimates a cooling demand or a heating demand for a next trip of the vehicle; and a changing portion that changes a target value of a charge state of the electricity storing part from a normal value to a different value when the determining portion determines that the vehicle approaches the destination and when the estimating portion estimates that there is the cooling demand or the heating demand.

  • Patent number: 8688322
Abstract: An air conditioner for a vehicle in which an operational efficiency of an in-vehicle equipment is controlled, includes a first heating portion which heats air to be blown into a vehicle compartment by using heat medium, a second heating portion which heats the blown air by using heating energy outputted from the in-vehicle equipment, a determination portion which determines a target heat amount ratio that is a target value of a heating amount ratio of a second heat amount used in the second heating portion to a first heat amount used in the first heating portion, and a heating adjustment portion which adjusts at least one of the first and second heat amounts such that the heat amount ratio approaches the target heat amount ratio. The target heat amount ratio is increased in accordance with an increase of the operational efficiency.

  • Patent number: 6195602
Abstract: A plurality of electronic control units such as engine ECU, navigation ECU and meter ECU as well as a transponder unit is provided in a vehicle so that those control units communicate with each other through a communication line. Each unit stores therein a vehicle identification code which varies from vehicle to vehicle. Each unit checks whether the vehicle identification code is stored in response to a turn-on of power supply. One control unit which does not store the vehicle identification code, it requests a transmission of the vehicle identification code stored in other control units of the vehicle. The other control units responsively transmit the respective stored vehicle identification code to the one control unit. The one control unit, receiving the vehicle identification code writes the transmitted vehicle identification code into its non-volatile memory. Each unit not only controls a vehicle-mounted device, but also diagnoses the vehicle-mounted device.
