    Abstract: An object of one aspect of the present invention is to obtain a measurement value in accordance with the condition of a crystalline lens of an examinee's eye. An apparatus for measuring ocular axial length includes: a measuring unit which irradiates measurement waves toward a fundus of the examinee's eye, and calculates the ocular axial length of the examinee's eye based on detection signals obtained from reflected waves including waves reflected from the fundus; and a determining unit which acquires reflection information related to an anterior segment of the examinee's eye, extracts reflection signals corresponding to a reflection object between a cornea and a posterior capsule of a crystalline lens based on the acquired reflection information, and determines whether the examinee's eye is a phakic eye or an IOL eye based on the extracted reflection signals.

The threshold Z in this case is a fluctuation region value determined by subtracting, from a set threshold width h, a value [?Ki(?F/?x)i] obtained by successively adding up the products of the fluctuation quantity of the seat drive force for each predetermined movement distance and a coefficient Ki.

    Abstract: In a manufacturing apparatus for flat cable adapted for allowing plural conductive wires arranged on the same plane to be put between a first insulating tape on which first peeling sheets are stuck at predetermined intervals and a second insulating tape on which second peeling sheets are stuck at predetermined intervals to stick the first insulating tape, the conductive wires and the second insulating tape in order recited, such an approach is employed to respectively adjust tensions applied to the first and second insulating tapes to thereby respectively independently change expansions/contractions of the first and second insulating tapes. Thus, it is possible to correct sticking errors of the first peeling sheets and the second peeling sheets.
