  • Publication number: 20010008682
Abstract: An electrophotographic transfer sheet is disclosed, comprising a support having on at least one surface thereof a porous coating layer formed of a resin, wherein the volume of voids having a pore size of 10 &mgr;m or more determined by a mercury press fitting method is from 7 to 50 ml/m2. Further disclosed is a method for forming a full color image using the electrophotographic transfer sheet.

  • Patent number: 5631076
Abstract: A hot melt ink thermal transfer recording sheet having enhanced color density, continuous tone and dot-reproducibilities and color brightness has an ink-receiving porous polymer coating layer having a plurality of pores with an average size of 0.5 to 30 .mu.m and an apparent density of 0.05 to 0.5 g/cm.sup.3, and formed on a substrate sheet by coating a coating liquid comprising a polymeric material and fine air bubbles introduced by a mechanical agitation so as to increase the apparent volume of the coating liquid to up to ten times the original volume, the laminate of the substrate with the ink-receiving porous polymer coating layer having a thermal conductivity of 0.25 W/(m.K) or less, as determined by the laser flash method.
