  • Patent number: 11979986
Abstract: A component-embedded substrate includes: a plurality of insulating layers each including a wiring pattern formed on one surface; an embedded component including a connection terminal; and a plurality of vias that electrically connect the connection terminal to the wiring patterns adjacent to each other in a lamination direction. The plurality of insulating layers is laminated on the connection terminal. Each of the plurality of vias is composed of a via hole formed in the respective insulating layer of the plurality of the insulating layers and a conductive material provided in the via hole. One of the plurality of vias is a connection via directly connected to the connection terminal. Another of the plurality of vias is a first adjacent via adjacent to the connection via in the lamination direction. The first adjacent via is connected to the wiring pattern formed on a surface of a top insulating layer.

  • Patent number: 11920841
Abstract: An air-conditioning apparatus includes a main circuit in which a compressor, a flow switching device, an indoor heat exchanger, a pressure reducing device, and a plurality of parallel heat exchangers connected in parallel with each other are connected by pipes, a bypass pipe, a flow control device provided to the bypass pipe and configured to adjust a flow rate of refrigerant flowing through the bypass pipe, an evaporating pressure sensor configured to measure an evaporating pressure of the refrigerant, and a controller. The air-conditioning apparatus is configured to operate in a normal heating operation mode and a heating-defrosting operation mode. When an operation associated with the normal heating operation mode is switched to an operation associated with the heating-defrosting operation mode, the controller adjusts an opening degree of the flow control device using the evaporating pressure in the parallel heat exchanger and a driving frequency of the compressor.

  • Publication number: 20140031632
Abstract: A retractor includes a central fixed portion, an extended arm portion extending on both sides of the central fixed portion, and a hook support section which is attached to the extended arm portion so as to be slidable in a longitudinal direction and supports a retractor hook is formed of a plastically deformable composite member for, when receiving a deformation load of causing a bending deformation, permitting the extended arm portion to be plastically deformed in an in-plane direction Fh in a virtual plane F, which is formed of the central fixed portion and the extended arm portion, while restricting the extended arm portion regarding the deformation in an out-of-plane direction Fv.

  • Patent number: 5673477
Abstract: A probe unit comprising a base in the form of a rectangular plate and a plurality of ultrathin metal wires which are partially secured to the base at a given pitch. Each of the wires comprises a straight portion firmly secured to the base, a bent portion located on an extension of the straight portion, and an inclined portion inclined from the bent portion outwardly of the base toward an inspected surface of an object to be inspected, and an R-shaped portion extending from the front end of the inclined portion outwardly of the base. The bent portion protrudes outwardly from the base and is bent toward the inspected surface. The R-shaped portion forms each probe pin bearing against the inspected surface.

  • Patent number: 4567934
Abstract: At least two exhaust holes are formed in an atomizing nozzle of an apparatus for spraying an air-water mist for cooling which is used in continuous metal casting. The respective spraying mist streams from the exhaust holes cross each other before they reach the surface of a cast strand and are diffused forwardly due to the influence of the kinetic energy which is directed in the spraying direction after they crossed, so that they sufficiently enter the region between the surfaces of guide rollers and cast strand, thereby directly spraying the air-water mist over almost the entire region of the surface of the cast strand. In addition, a header is disposed in parallel to the guide rollers and a plurality of water branching pipes are attached in line to the header in the longitudinal direction thereof. The inner diameter of these water branching pipes are set to be sequentially smaller toward the lower stage.

  • Patent number: 4541473
Abstract: An exhaust hole is formed in an exhaust side wall of a mist atomizing nozzle of an apparatus for spraying the mist for cooling for and is used in continuous metal casting. An introduction inlet is provided in an introducing side wall on the side opposite the exhaust side wall at the height position different from that of the exhaust hole. An air-water mixture supply pipe is attached to the introduction inlet to communicate therewith. The air-water mixture of relatively large water droplets is formed and is introduced into the mist atomizing nozzle by that air-water mixture supply pipe. After the air-water mixture repeatedly collides in the mist atomizing nozzle, the large water droplets are made fine and are sequentially exhausted from the exhaust hole by being pressed by the supply pressure from the rear side.
