Patent number: 6778489Abstract: The invention provides a subscriber terminating equipment wherein a subscriber accommodated in a subscriber terminating package with which a fault occurs is switched to a relief package by constructing the same such that a common section selects a pair of subscriber terminating packages including a first subscriber terminating package and a second subscriber terminating package and allocates, if the first subscriber terminating package fails, the second subscriber terminating package as a bypass package for performing electric connection between a subscriber terminal and the relief package. The subscriber terminating equipment thus allows automatic switching of the relief package without using a switching package for exclusive use and allows replacement of the fault package without interrupting communication of a subscriber accommodated in the fault package.Type: GrantFiled: November 28, 2000Date of Patent: August 17, 2004Assignee: Fujitsu LimitedInventors: Kazuyoshi Maruyama, Masakazu Oi

Patent number: 6320940Abstract: A network termination device which will operate correctly even if its connection to a central office has reverse polarity. A network termination device at customer premises is connected to a line termination device located at a central office via a two-wire subscriber loop. If this connection was made with reverse polarity, the supply voltage provided by the line termination device would oscillate at specific intervals, alternating between normal polarity and reverse polarity. In such a case, a polarity switch controller in the network termination device directs its local polarity reversing switch to alternate the polarity at predetermined intervals longer than the cycle time of the above oscillation. This produces such a situation where a reverse supply voltage is present and the polarity reversing switch is in reverse mode, resulting in correct polarity as a whole.Type: GrantFiled: September 10, 1999Date of Patent: November 20, 2001Assignee: Fujitsu LimitedInventor: Masakazu Oi

Patent number: 5331213Abstract: An undershoot eliminating circuit is provided between a pulse transformer of a pulse transmitter coupled to a transmission line and a pulse transformer driving circuit for driving the pulse transformer. The pulse transformer driving circuit has an impedance high enough to cause the pulse transmitter to be substantially isolated from the transmission line. The undershoot eliminating circuit includes a capacitor, and a switching unit. The switching unit is connected to the capacitor, and has the function of selectively connecting the capacitor to the pulse transformer driving circuit and the pulse transformer in parallel on the basis of a voltage based on a pulse wave generated by the pulse transformer driving circuit and applied across the switching unit.Type: GrantFiled: July 8, 1992Date of Patent: July 19, 1994Assignee: Fujitsu LimitedInventors: Hisakazu Ohmori, Yukio Furukawa, Masakazu Oi, Akihiko Takada

Patent number: 3942934Abstract: A mold assembly for use in a packaging machine for making a blistered package, which forms a plurality of blisters in a web of thermoplastic resin film forming a part of the blistered package. The mold assembly comprises a preforming structural body formed with a plurality of preforming molds and a finishing structural body formed with the corresponding number of finishing molds arranged in the same pattern as the preforming molds. The thermoplastic resin web is first subjected to a preforming process with the preforming structural body and then to a final forming process with the finishing structural body thereby to avoid excessive and quick reduction of the wall thickness which may otherwise be observable in any of the finally formed blisters. A method for this purpose is also disclosed.Type: GrantFiled: October 11, 1974Date of Patent: March 9, 1976Assignee: Takeda Chemical Industries, Ltd.Inventors: Takenori Momiyama, Keiiti Mizutani, Masakazu Oi, Shinji Hanatani
