  • Patent number: 11966182
Abstract: A fixing device includes a fixing member, a pressure member, and a pair of retention members each including a restriction surface. The restriction surface restricts a movement of the fixing member in an axial direction. The restriction surface includes a first contact area and a second contact area. The first area is an area more on a downstream side of a passing direction of a medium than a center of a pressure area in the passing direction, and also closer to the pressure area than an apex of the fixing member on an opposite side of the pressure area. The first contact area and the second contact area are each tilted at a certain gradient so as to be set apart from the end portion of the fixing member in the axial direction from a side of the apex toward a side of the pressure area.

  • Patent number: 7052547
Abstract: In single crystal growth by means of a CZ method, a granular/lump polycrystalline raw material is additionally supplied into a raw material melt in a crucible through a vertical charging tube. A raw material accumulating section is provided at a site part way downward in the vertical charging tube working in such a way that a predetermined amount of the polycrystalline raw material is accumulated in the raw material accumulating section and the polycrystalline raw material in excess of the predetermined amount falls down. The polycrystalline raw material falling down in the vertical charging tube strikes against the accumulated raw material in the raw material accumulating section, thereby absorbing a shock of the falling raw material. The accumulated raw material works simultaneously as a protective member, thereby preventing breakage of the tube accompanying absorption of the shock from occurring.

  • Patent number: 4510984
Abstract: A pneumatic radial tire having highly durable bead structure is disclosed. One or more carcass ply layers of steel cords are turned up around a bead core from the inside to the outside. A reinforcing strip of steel cords is positioned outwardly adjacent to the turn-ups of carcass plies. A bead filler of approximately triangular sectional shape is disposed at the region enclosed by the carcass plies, the turn-ups of the carcass plies and the reinforcing strip of steel cords. The bead filler comprises high hardness rubber stock and medium hardness rubber stock. A cap of organic textile cord fabric covers an upper end of the reinforcing strip of steel cords. A fin-shaped rubber buffer having a hardness lower than that of the medium hardness rubber stock by 3.degree. to 20.degree. is disposed radially outwardly of the capped end and axially outwardly adjacent to the medium hardness rubber stock.

Abstract: A pneumatic radial tire having highly durable bead structure is disclosed. One or more carcass ply layers of steel cords are turned up around a bead core from the inside to the outside. A reinforcing strip of steel cords is positioned outwardly adjacent to and without extending radially outwardly beyond the turn-ups of carcass plies. A bead filler of approximately triangular sectional shape is disposed at the region enclosed by the carcass plies and the turn-ups of the carcass plies. The bead filler comprises high hardness rubber stock and medium hardness rubber stock. A cap of organic textile cord fabric covers an upper end of the carcass plies. A fin-shaped rubber buffer having a hardness lower than that of the medium hardness rubber stock by 3.degree. to 20.degree. is disposed radially outwardly of the capped end and axially outwardly adjacent to the medium hardness rubber stock. A reinforcing strip of organic textile cords may be further disposed outwardly adjacent to the reinforcing strip of steel cords.
