  • Publication number: 20110025096
Abstract: In a construction machine such as a hydraulic excavator in which a boom of a working attachment is arranged to one of the left and right sides of a cab into which an operator gets on, a load transmission member for transmitting a lateral load imposed on the cab at the time of rollover of a machine main body to the boom serving as a load receiving member is attached to a side surface of the boom in a state that the load transmission member is elastically deformable taking a boom attachment point as a supporting point, further, a projection piece is provided for this load transmission member, and a clearance is formed between this projection piece and a left end surface of a top plate of the boom.

  • Patent number: 7817925
Abstract: An optical signal, which is a low-speed signal superimposed on a high-speed phase modulated optical signal by intensity modulation, is used. In an optical receiver apparatus 40, a received signal is split, and one of the split signals is O/E converted and low frequency component alone is extracted via a filter 46. A clock is extracted from low-frequency component by CDR, and is compared with a preset frequency. Using the frequency difference obtained, dispersion compensation is performed with low accuracy. Next, the amount of phase control of the delay interferometer 21 is adjusted so that the amplitude of the electrical signal is maximized. An error rate is measured, and fine adjustment is performed to improve the error rate.

  • Publication number: 20070071447
Abstract: An optical receiving apparatus has a route change detector for detecting occurrence of a route change of received signal light, a memory for beforehand storing optimum dispersion compensation quantity for the received signal light before and after the route change, a tunable dispersion compensator for compensating dispersion of the received signal light, and a controller for controlling a dispersion compensation quantity used by the tunable dispersion compensator according to the optimum dispersion compensation quantity for the received signal light after the route change, which is beforehand stored in the memory, when the route change detector detects occurrence of the route change. The dispersion compensation quantity can be optimized at high-speed for each of optical transmission routes of the received signal light.

  • Patent number: 6536680
Abstract: In a combustor for supplying combustion heat to a heater core and an intake side of an engine, when the engine is started, combustion gas is supplied to an intake side of the engine while non-combustion air is introduced into a combustion gas passage partitioned from a water passage of the heater core by a heat-conduction partition member. In this case, non-combustion air is used as an air curtain for interrupting a heat transmission from the combustion gas of the combustion gas passage to water of the water passage.

  • Publication number: 20030039207
Abstract: The present invention is directed to the provision of a transmission apparatus and, more particularly, of a transmission apparatus equipped with an alarm transfer device that enables alarm information to be transferred on a network where a protocol having a dedicated frame for achieving network management and client maintenance and a protocol that does not have such a dedicated frame are running in mixed fashion. The transmission apparatus, which is connected to the network where transparent data transmissions are performed using a plurality of client protocols, is designed to accommodate at least one of the plurality of protocols as a primary client protocol, and the alarm transfer device transfers alarm information indicating the occurrence of a failure to a destination transmission apparatus via the network, wherein the alarm information is transferred using an alarm frame created based on a prescribed client protocol unified among the plurality of client protocols.

  • Patent number: 6427924
Abstract: A combustion type heater of this invention includes fuel distribution means 11 for distributing a fuel to the whole surface of a wick 10, disposed upstream of the wick in a fuel passage. The fuel distribution means comprises fuel distribution grooves 15 and a fuel dispersion plate 16 having a large number of holes bored therein. The fuel distribution means can quickly supply the fuel to the whole surface of the wick. To shorten the heating time of the wick, the heater of the present invention uses a wick heating glow plug 14b outside an ignition glow plug 14a, or a planar heater 18, for heating the wick.
