  • Patent number: 11541767
Abstract: A vehicle power supply includes an electric accumulator pack, an electric motor, first and second switches, an output determiner, and a switch controller. The electric accumulator pack includes first and second electric accumulators. The first and second switches are controlled between on- and off-states. The output determiner determines whether the first electric accumulator is in a first output state or a second output state, and whether the second electric accumulator is in the first output state or the second output state. If at least one of the first electric accumulator or the second electric accumulator is in the first output state, the switch controller controls either one of the first and second switches to the on-state, and the other switch to the off-state. If both the first and second electric accumulators are in the second output state, the switch controller controls both the first and second switches to the on-state.

  • Patent number: 11509354
Abstract: A vehicle control apparatus is to be provided in a vehicle including a wireless charger that charges a mobile device placed on the wireless charger. The vehicle control apparatus includes an interruption detector, a cause determination unit, and a notification controller. The interruption detector detects interruption of charging of the mobile device by the wireless charger, based on an operating state of the wireless charger. The cause determination unit determines whether a cause of the interruption of the charging is a first or second cause. The first cause is that the mobile device is moved by inertia during traveling. The second cause is that the mobile device is moved by a passenger. When the cause is determined as being the first cause, the notification controller notifies information about the interruption of the charging in a more prominent manner than when the cause is determined as being the second cause.

  • Patent number: 11374426
Abstract: A vehicle in which a contactless charger is installable, the contactless charger being capable of performing wireless charging of a mobile device. The vehicle includes a traveling controller and a device managing unit. The traveling controller is configured to perform at least traveling control of first traveling characteristics and traveling control of second traveling characteristics. The second traveling characteristics are traveling characteristics in which behavior of the vehicle is gentler than that in the first traveling characteristics. The device managing unit is configured to switch the contactless charger between a charging-capable state and a non-working state. When the device managing unit switches the contactless charger to the charging-capable state, the traveling controller changes traveling characteristics to the second traveling characteristics.

  • Patent number: 11285823
Abstract: A wireless charging device for a vehicle includes a mounting unit, a power transmitter, a position detector, and a controller. The mounting unit is to be mounted with a mobile device. The power transmitter wirelessly transmits electric power to a power receiver of the mobile device. The position detector detects a position of the power receiver of the mobile device mounted on the mounting unit. The controller switches between charging modes including a normal mode of allowing charging if the power receiver is positioned in a standard region of the mounting unit, and enlargement modes of allowing the charging also if the power receiver is positioned in an enlarged region outside the standard region. The enlargement modes include a standard current mode in which a standard current is outputted to the power transmitter, and an increased current mode in which a current larger than the standard current is outputted.

  • Publication number: 20220076509
Abstract: A malfunction diagnosing system includes a data acquirer, an appropriate range setter, and a malfunction determiner. The data acquirer is configured to acquire traveling environment data and actual traveling result data in association with each other for a target vehicle to be subjected to malfunction diagnosis. The traveling environment data includes at least driving operation data indicating a driving operation. The actual traveling result data indicates an actual traveling result based on the traveling environment data. The appropriate range setter is configured to derive an appropriate range of actual traveling results based on the traveling environment data for vehicles the models of which are identical to a model of the target vehicle. The malfunction determiner is configured to determine whether the target vehicle has a malfunction by determining whether the actual traveling result data falls within the appropriate range.
