  • Patent number: 7344093
Abstract: A tubular member is arranged radially inward of a coil to cover outer peripheral parts of a movable core and of a stationary core. The stationary core has a tapered portion in an opposing portion, which is opposed to the movable core. The stationary core also has a large diameter portion on a counter movable core side of the tapered portion. An outer diameter of the tapered portion is increased from an opposing end surface side part toward the large diameter portion. The outer diameter of the opposing end surface of the opposing portion, which is opposed to the movable core, is generally the same as an outer diameter of the movable core. An outer diameter of the large diameter portion of the stationary-core is larger than the outer diameter of the movable core.

  • Patent number: 6394825
Abstract: In molding a connector block 1 for injectors including a fuel passage 3 integrally formed, a fuel rail 4 including the fuel passage 3 is advancedly formed by a first molding. The fuel rail 4 is provided with a plurality of positioning projections 7 with respect to metal molds for a secondary molding in a longitudinal direction. The fuel rail 4 is set in a position and placed in the metal molds. When the secondary molding is conducted in this state, the fuel rail 4 will not be subjected a positional displacement, but can be accurately molded.

  • Patent number: 6341967
Abstract: By dividing a bus bar group 65 into a pair of subordinate bus bar groups 65A, 65B, tabs 31 extending from the bus bar group 65 in mutually different oblique directions can be held in a metal mold separately. Due to this, the bus bar group 65 can also be set in a metal mold including a slide mold 3, which makes it possible to manufacture a connector block 20 with high efficiency.

  • Patent number: 5944262
Abstract: A fuel injection valve, having an injector pipe containing a needle valve therein, an electromagnetic coil for driving the needle valve and a yoke forming a magnetic circuit, intermittently injects fuel fed from the top of the injection valve to an internal combustion engine according to longitudinal movement of the needle valve. The injector pipe is made of a compound magnetic material and formed into a single piece by a drawing process, the single piece including two magnetic portions and a non-magnetic portion interposed between two magnetic portions. The non-magnetic portion intercepts magnetic flux flow between the magnetic portions. The electromagnetic coil is molded by resin together with other components, and the yoke is formed separately. The yoke is mounted on the molded coil from its lateral side, making an assembly including the coil and the yoke. The injector pipe is inserted into a bore formed in the coil, and then the yoke is connected to the injector pipe by welding.

  • Patent number: 5893351
Abstract: In a fuel supply device for an engine, a clip is fitted in two grooves formed in a fuel injector through its pawls parallel with each other, and fitted with a convex portion formed on a fuel delivery pipe through its window portion. The clip is prevented from slipping out of the injector in an axial direction and the fuel delivery pipe. Even if a wire harness tends to slip out of an electric connector, a sealing member is stopped at a stopper plate of the clip to thereby prevent the wire harness from slipping out.

  • Patent number: 5718206
Abstract: A fuel supply system is composed of a fuel rail, a fuel injection valve and a fuel filter. The fuel injection valve has an electromagnetic solenoid, a valve member, a valve guide member and a valve seat. A plurality of slanted fuel passages are formed in the surface of the valve guide to evacuate bubble from the fuel. The fuel rail is composed of a resinous upper case member and a resinous lower case member. The fuel injection valve is held between the upper and lower case members in the axial direction of the valve. An elastic sheet member is interposed between the upper case member and the fuel injection valve, and an elastic O-ring is disposed around the fuel injection valve to reduce stress applied to the fuel injection valve in installing the fuel rail to an engine.

  • Patent number: 5704335
Abstract: A keep-back recess for blocking water, which is likely to be transmitted to a throttle valve along an inner peripheral surface of an intake pipe, is formed at an inner surface of a throttle body. The keep-back recess collects and stores water so that the throttle valve is prevented from freezing without leading engine cooling water in the throttle body.

  • Patent number: 5133320
Abstract: A safety apparatus for a combustion engine includes a rotary member disposed in a rotating portion of the internal combustion engine, a spiral spring supported by the rotary member at one end and biasing the rotary member in a predetermined direction, an engaging member engaging with the other end of the spiral spring, a housing for receiving the spiral spring, and a guide member arranged over at least the outer side periphery of the overlapping portion of the spiral spring and extending along the circumferential direction of the spiral spring to prevent the spiral spring from expanding in diameter. With this construction, when breakage is caused in the spiral spring, hooking of the broken end onto the engaging member can be prevented by the guide member. Therefore, it can prevent the throttle valve from being biased toward opening direction by the broken spiral spring.
