    Abstract: A rolling bearing, for application in electric auxiliaries for a car, durable owing to high resistance to high temperatures and capable of restraining noises from being generated at low temperatures; and lubricant grease, for low and high temperature application, which can be sealed in the rolling bearing. The lubricant grease includes 100 parts by weight of a mixture of fluorine-containing lubricant grease containing perfluoropolyether oil as a base oil thereof and fluorocarbon resin powder as a thickening agent thereof and urea-containing lubricant grease containing polyester oil as a base oil thereof and a urea compound as a thickening agent thereof; and 3 to 30 parts by weight of polyolefin oil added to the mixed grease. The polyolefin oil has a pour point of not more than −50° C. and a kinematic viscosity of 10 to 70 mm2/s at 40° C.

    Abstract: A belt tension adjusting device has a stationary fulcrum shaft, an arm pivotally supported on the fulcrum shaft through a slide bearing formed of a synthetic resin, a tension pulley mounted on the arm at one end thereof for tensioning a belt, and a damper having a piston rod abutting the arm on the other end thereof. The tension pulley is pressed against the belt by pivoting the arm under the force of the piston rod, thereby adjusting the tension of the belt. The inner peripheral surface of said slide bearing, which is in slide contact with said fulcrum shaft, is formed so as to have a surface roughness RA of not more than 6.3 &mgr;m. The slide bearing is formed of a resin composition comprising 65-85 vol % of a thermoplastic polyimide resin, an aromatic polyether ketone resin or a mixture of the resins, and 15-35 vol % of a tetrafluoroethylene resin.

    Abstract: An electrical pittingproof rolling bearing having an insulating film is provided which is not creep-deformed under a bearing load even if used for a long time at high temperature and in which the bearing interference is stable with time under such severe use conditions. An insulating film formed on the surface of a bearing ring comprises a resin having a compression permanent strain of 2% or less under heating/pressurizing conditions in which a pressure of 20 MPa is applied for 24 hours at 120° C. Also, the insulating film is formed from a resin composition containing 30-80 vol % of a polyphenylene sulfide resin and 5-65 vol % of a polyamide-imide resin, and 5-50 vol % of insulating inorganic materials. Preferably, the insulating film is formed to cover at least one of the outer peripheral surface of the outer ring and the inner peripheral surface of the inner ring, and the side faces of at least one of the inner and outer rings.

    Abstract: Resin composition and precision sliding parts are proposed. The resin composition includes a modified polyphenylene ether resin as a main component, a fibrous reinforcing agent, and a solid lubricant comprising tetrafluoroethyelene and graphite in the amount of 2-30 volume %. The modified polyphenylene ether resin is prepared by blending a polystyrene-family resin with a polyphenylele ether resin. The ratio of the tetrafluoroethylene resin and the graphite is 1:1 to 1:5. The fibrous reinforcing agent is glass fiber or carbon fiber. The fibrous reinforcing material is orientated such that the angle of fiber axis is not more than 30 degrees with respect to the sliding surface. The fibrous reinforcing material is a fibrous reinforcing material having a fiber diameter of 10 &mgr;m or less.

    Abstract: Rolling bearings are proposed in which acoustic deterioration is suppressed which maintaining low dust, low torque and long life. Also, a grease for rolling bearings is proposed which is less likely to scatter under centrifugal force at high speed rotation, whereby preventing malfunction and noise of electronic information devices. A lubricating oil film of an ester-series oil having a dynamic viscosity at 40° C. of 35 mm2/s or over is formed on the friction surface of a rolling bearing. There is also provided a high-speed rolling bearing in which a lubricating grease having its worked penetration (JIS K2220) adjusted to 175-250 is retained therein. The grease is preferably prepared by adding a thickening agent containing 50 wt % or more of an aliphatic lithium salt 12-24 in carbon number to a base oil comprising 30 wt % or more of an ester oil having a dynamic viscosity at 40° C. of 10 mm2/s or over, and having its worked penetration (JIS K2220) adjusted to 175-250.

    Abstract: A lubricative resin composition and a slide bearing made from such a resin. Even after a long-time slide movement, the friction coefficient is kept stably low and the wear is small. Moldability is also good. The lubricative resin composition is made up of 80-99.5 wt % of a synthetic resin which is either a mixture of 30-95 wt % of a polyamide resin and 5-70 wt % of a polyolefin, or a polyamide resin, and 0.5-20 wt % of a fatty acid having a carbon number of 10 or over and a melting point of 30° C. or under, such as montanic acid or stearic acid. A slide bearing is made from such a resin composition. Such slide bearings are used to support rotary shafts in a developing device for developing static latent images.

    Abstract: A machine part is proposed which is made from TPI resin and is high in wear resistance and durability. The machine part is formed from a composition comprising 100 parts by weight of a thermoplastic polyimide resin, and 10-100 parts by weight of a reinforcing material, the thermoplastic polyimide resin having a crystallinity of 10% or over. The machine part may be a gear, a friction wheel or a cam used in a mechanical transmission. The crystallinity of the resin is adjusted to 10% or over by injection-molding the resin composition, and heating the thus injection-molded article at 220-340° C. for 5-24 hours.
