  • Patent number: 9210014
Abstract: A wireless station device determines whether a carrier to noise ratio of a vertical polarization wave is lower than a first threshold value, determines that a present modulation method for the vertical polarization wave is to be changed to another modulation method having a small multilevel number when the carrier to noise ratio of the vertical polarization wave is lower than the first threshold value, and transmits modulation method information to the facing wireless station device. Further, the facing wireless station device transmits a radio signal to the wireless station device using the modulation method indicated by the received modulation method information for the vertical polarization wave.

  • Patent number: 8744503
Abstract: A wireless communication device avoids unnecessary reduction of transmission capacity of a data signal to ensure the reliability of a pilot signal. A determination unit determines a reception modulation method for a received data signal according to the state of the transmission line. A transmission circuit generates a first pilot signal indicating the reception modulation method determined by the determination unit and, after adding an error correction code, modulates and transmits the first pilot signal. A reception unit receives a second pilot signal indicating a transmission modulation method that is the method for modulating a transmitted data signal. A switching unit, in accordance with the transmission modulation method indicated by the second pilot signal received by the reception unit, switches at least one of the modulation method of the first pilot signal transmitted by the transmission circuit and the redundancy of the error correction code of the first pilot signal.

  • Publication number: 20110244803
Abstract: A wireless communications system and a wireless device are provided which can ensure a satisfactory line quality even when the characteristics of a transmission path are being steeply deteriorated. The wireless device measures a state indicating the characteristics of a transmission path, determines whether or not switching of a modulation scheme is required based on the state, and if the switching of the modulation scheme is required, determines a modulation scheme after the switching in accordance with the state and a value of a change amount of the state, switches a demodulation scheme to one corresponding to the modulation scheme after the switching, and adds information indicating the modulation scheme after the switching to a frame to be transmitted to a wireless device which is a communication partner.

  • Patent number: 7646222
Abstract: A reference voltage generating circuit receives a power supply voltage and generates a reference voltage. A reference voltage level guarantee circuit generates a sense signal when the circuit senses that a value of the reference voltage has reached a predetermined value. A power supply voltage sensing circuit has a voltage comparator circuit which compares a voltage obtained by dividing a power supply voltage with the reference voltage and outputs a power ON reset signal. An operation of the voltage comparator circuit is controlled based on a sense signal. When the value of the power supply voltage increases and the value of the reference voltage reaches a predetermined value, the voltage comparator circuit operates, and a power ON reset signal is outputted in response to a result of comparison between a divisional voltage and the reference voltage.
