  • Patent number: 6941625
Abstract: A method of producing a piezoelectric/electrostrictive device in which a piezoelectric/electrostrictive element including a substantially trapezoidal laminate having narrower and wider surfaces lying substantially in parallel to each other and first and second surfaces opposed to each other between the narrower and wider surfaces. The first and second surfaces are inclined at given angles to one of the narrower and wider surfaces. The laminate includes piezoelectric/electrostrictive layers and interposed internal electrodes, the internal electrodes being broken up into a first and a second group, each of the first group internal electrodes lying over one of the second group internal electrodes through one of the piezoelectric/electrostrictive layers. A first external electrode is formed on the first surface of the laminate and is coupled to the first group internal electrodes. A second external electrode is formed on the second surface of the laminate and is coupled to the second group internal electrodes.

  • Publication number: 20040207296
Abstract: A laminate-type piezoelectric device includes: a piezoelectric layer (2); and an internal electrode layer (3) which is laminated on the piezoelectric layer (2), has a lower surface flat along a surface of the piezoelectric layer (2) and has an edge sidewall in its tip portion having an inclined surface (3A) making an acute angle with respect to the surface of the underlying piezoelectric layer (2). The piezoelectric layers (2) and the internal electrode layers (3) are alternately laminated on each other.

  • Patent number: 6671680
Abstract: According to a display processing unit, dividing axes are arranged and the division number and a connection between classification results are simultaneously displayed by a polygonal line onto a parallel coordinate graph obtained as a polygonal line by plotting a classification result of every plural analysis items by a clustering processing unit onto an axis of each analysis item. An annual ring diagram showing a division number which is more proper as an annual ring is thicker is displayed. The display processing unit displays a tree diagram obtained as a processing result of a classification processing unit by a folding, sorting, or the like so as to be easily understood. An output processing unit converts an unknown rule discovered by the classification into a format which can be used in an external application and outputs it.

  • Patent number: 5255138
Abstract: An automatic disk changer is disclosed in which a tray transfer mechanism is provided in a case at the central portion of the width thereof so that the mechanism can be moved up and down. A disk player is installed to play a disk optionally transferred by the mechanism. Pairs of right and left tray guides for housing trays are provided in the case at the right and left portions thereof so that the center lines of the guides extend toward the mechanism.

  • Patent number: 5107475
Abstract: An automatic disk changer is disclosed in which tray guides are provided on a large number of levels in a case at right and left portions thereof so that the center line of the guide on each of the levels at the right portion and that of the guide on the level at the left portion extend toward a tray transfer mechanism and meet each other in the form of a V. The tray transfer mechanism can be moved up and down between each of the guides and a disk player for playing a disk in a tray transferred by the tray transfer mechanism, be swung from a central portion to positions corresponding to the guides on each of the levels at the right and left portions, and be moved backward and forward, to and from each of the guides.

  • Patent number: 5088076
Abstract: An automatic disk changer in which a tray guide for storing a disk while it is not being played is provided in a case. A tray for containing the disk is guided by the tray guide. The tray has nearly the same size as the disk to be contained in the tray, and has a window through which a laser beam from a pickup passes and which extends to the peripheral portion of the tray. The disk changer includes a disk player which is also provided with a further tray guide for guiding the tray and is installed so that the disk is pinched and moved up by a turntable unit and a clamper and the tray is thereafter moved in the direction of movement of the pickup.
