  • Publication number: 20060243001
Abstract: Provided is a weft knitting machine having movable sinkers capable of securing a large space at a needle bed near a knitted fabric knitting area and making a pause in the state of stopping action on the knitted fabric knitting area. A sinker operation cam mechanism (10) installed in a carriage acts on the butt (12c) of a sinker jack (12) to move the sinker jack (12) backward from a needle bed gap (2) so that an operation portion (8c) of the movable sinker (8) can retract from the needle bed gap (2). The sinker jack (12) is interlocked at a backward position by an interlock mechanism (16). Since a wire (17) passed through a needle plate (5) is utilized to interlock the sinker jack (12) in the interlock mechanism (16), the interlock mechanism (16) can be reduced in size.

  • Publication number: 20060201208
Abstract: A needle selecting apparatus for a weft knitting machine capable of performing a needle selecting position locking function without moving a selecting jack forward and backward is provided. In the needle selecting apparatus, as shown in FIG. (a), an initial position of the selecting jack (22) is set at a welt position to ready for non-operation. And, as shown in FIG. (b), when a butt (22a) is pressed by a B presser (27) of a carriage (33), the selecting jack (22) comes into a locked condition by a locking member (30). The selecting jack (22) is sunk into a needle groove (35) in the locked condition and the butt of a knitting needle is also sunk into the needle groove (35) to separate from a knitting cam. When a knitting position or tucking position is selected by a needle selection actuator (25), a selector (23) is driven by a selector cam (24), and a tip (22d) of the selecting jack (22) presses a contact portion (22e) of the selecting jack (22) to move the selecting jack rightward.

  • Patent number: 7046833
Abstract: From CT images having captured an abdomen, a two-dimensional characteristic space is assumed, in which X and Y axes indicate CT values of image data taken in first and second time phases different from each other. In this space, a two-dimensional histogram concerning respective pixels located at the same position in the two time phases is taken as a sample distribution of pixels. A two-variable distribution function is applied to this sample distribution, so as to estimate a matrix distribution of pixels corresponding to the whole liver region. According to this matrix distribution, a range of CT value of pixels corresponding to the liver region is estimated.

  • Patent number: 6988385
Abstract: A switching mechanism is provided for switching the position of a yarn feeding mouth to another and swinging a yarn feeder. The switching mechanism includes a push operating portion for changing a swing direction of the yarn feeding mouth and a height position thereof in cooperation with a leading means until a yarn feeder selected by the leading means feeds a yarn and is led from a stopped state. The push operating portion forms a lowering surface in a surface of the push operating portion. The lowering surface is used to further lower the yarn feeding mouth from a yarn feeding position so as to allow the yarn to pass under a backface side of the needle.

  • Publication number: 20040017370
Abstract: According to a distribution of image data values corresponding to individual spatial coordinate points on a three-dimensional space obtained when a region to be observed is tomographically taken by a radiographic medical diagnosis system, an interpolation area is provided within a segment set within a range of the image data values. In the interpolation area, degrees of chromaticity and opaqueness of each spatial coordinate point are made variable in response to the magnitude of image data value. The degrees of chromaticity and opaqueness of all the spatial coordinate points located on each line of sight connecting each plane coordinate point on a two-dimensional projection plane and a point of view are respectively integrated, and thus integrated values are reflected on the plane coordinate points on the line of sight.

  • Publication number: 20020191634
Abstract: A site diversity method, a digital satellite broadcast receiving method and a digital satellite broadcast receiver are provided which can make a difference of data output timing between a main station and a subsidiary station at the time of site exchange as small as possible and can perform re-synchronization as soon as possible. In the site diversity method for digital satellite broadcast, when a site exchange execution designation signal is received, the site is exchanged during a period of a TMCC information field of a predetermined specific frame of a super frame determined when the execution designation signal is received. On the receiver side, information of broadcast is continuously received by detecting a TMCC information field in a specific frame during a period of which field the site was exchanged and by establishing re-synchronization by using a super frame sync pattern W2 or W3 after the detected TMCC information field.

  • Patent number: 5544503
Abstract: A break in twice as many yarns is made detectable merely by slightly modifying the tension switch assembly of a knitting machine. A yarn conductor 20 is rotatably attached to the forward end of an arm 16 of the assembly and provided with a pair of yarn supports 26, 27 on opposite sides of a rotational pin 19. Upon a break occurring in the yarn 2 retained on one of the yarns supports 26, 27, torques exerted by the yarns 2, 2 on the respective supports 26, 27 are brought out of balance to rotate the yarn conductor 20 and release the remaining other yarn 2 from the support 27.
