  • Publication number: 20230060338
Abstract: An input power monitoring circuit includes a rectifier circuit, a divided voltage generator circuit, a divided voltage comparator circuit, a switching circuit, and a computing device. The divided voltage comparator circuit is configured in such a manner that polarity of an output signal that is outputted from a first comparator upon a first rectified divided voltage exceeding a first comparison voltage is opposite to polarity of an output signal that is outputted from a second comparator upon a second rectified divided voltage exceeding a second comparison voltage. Output terminals of the first and second comparators are connected to each other. A connection point between the output terminals of the first and second comparators is connected to an input terminal of the switching circuit. The computing device measures frequency of a pulse signal outputted from the switching circuit, and determines the voltage state of input power based on the measured frequency.

  • Patent number: 9591183
Abstract: An image forming apparatus has a sheet reading portion, an assimilation surveying portion, a color changing portion, and a printing portion. The sheet reading portion reads image data from a transparent sheet tinted with a predetermined color owned by a user. The assimilation surveying portion looks for, out of printable colors, a particular color that assimilates to the color of the read image data. The color changing portion changes, out of the data of a predetermined document accepted from the user, the color of the data of a concealable character, which is a character concealed when overlaid with the transparent sheet, to the found particular color. The printing portion prints, out of the data of the document, the data of the concealable character in the particular color.

  • Patent number: 9503610
Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a punch hole detection section, a position calculating section, an image adding section, and an image forming section. The punch hole detection section analyzes image data of a scan image obtained through scanning of an original document to detect two punch hole images. The position calculating section calculates a midpoint between the two punch hole images in the scan image when the two punch hole images are detected. The image adding section adds image data of a midpoint indicating image to the image data of the scan image so that the midpoint indicating image is added to the scan image at a position corresponding to the midpoint. The image forming section performs image formation on a sheet based on the image data of the scan image to which the image data of the midpoint indicating image has been added.

  • Patent number: 9294643
Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a determination section, acquisition section, generation section, notification section, and a management section. The determination section determines, when receiving a print job from a predetermined terminal apparatus via a network, whether or not the print job is a private print job. If the print job is a private print job, the acquisition section acquires, from another image forming apparatus coupled to the image forming apparatus to communicate with the image forming apparatus, information regarding the another image forming apparatus. The generation section generates a one time password on the basis of the acquired information. The notification section notifies the terminal apparatus of the generated one time password. The management section manages the generated one time password in association with the private print job and, when receiving the one time password from a user, executes the private print job associated with the one time password.

The determination section determines, when receiving a print job from a predetermined terminal apparatus via a network, whether or not the print job is a private print job. If the print job is a private print job, the acquisition section acquires, from another image forming apparatus coupled to a self-apparatus to communicate with the self-apparatus, information regarding the another image forming apparatus. The generation section generates a one time password on the basis of the acquired information. The notification section notifies the terminal apparatus of the generated one time password. The management section manages the generated one time password in association with the private print job and, when receiving the one time password from a user, executes the private print job associated with the one time password.

  • Publication number: 20150379378
Abstract: An image forming apparatus has a trial printing mode in which, when printing of a plurality of sheets of an image of a read document is requested, one sheet is printed first, the printing is interrupted once, and then the remaining sheets are printed after the interruption of the printing is released. The image forming apparatus has an image reading device, a printing unit, a judgment unit, and a control unit. The image reading device reads an image of a document. The printing unit prints an image on paper. The judgment unit judges whether or not an image read by the image reading device is outside an image formation region of paper to be printed by the printing unit. When the judgment unit judges that the image is outside the image formation region of the paper, the control unit controls the image forming apparatus to enter the trial printing mode.

  • Patent number: 8908244
Abstract: An image processing apparatus includes an achromatization determination portion, an achromatization processing portion, and a line designation portion. If a black pixel is present within a predetermined peripheral range from a target pixel in a sub-scanning direction, the achromatization determination portion determines whether to achromatize the target pixel, on the basis of an attribute of a background determination pixel present in an opposite direction from the target pixel with respect to the black pixel and within a range of a predetermined number of pixels from the black pixel. If no black pixel is present within the predetermined peripheral range from the target pixel in the sub-scanning direction, the achromatization determination portion determines not to achromatize the target pixel.

  • Patent number: 7646513
Abstract: Provided is an image processing device and method capable of making the joint of an original image and a reverse image less noticeable. A CPU processes image data stored in an external memory device for storing an information resource for an electronic game, and displaying the electronic game target on a screen of a display device based on the processing results. Thereupon, when generating an original image and a reverse image as a repeat image, the CPU deletes an image worth 0.5 dots of a pixel belonging to an area adjacent to the reverse image among the pixels of the original image, deletes an image worth 0.5 dots of a pixel belonging to an area adjacent to the original image among the pixels of the reverse image, generates a single image by alternately arranging the original image and reverse image where an image worth 0.5 dots was deleted, executes the embedding of an image, and thereby displays this image as the repeat image.

  • Patent number: 7379180
Abstract: A fluid analysis system for use downhole comprises an input light signal that is directed through a fluid sample housed in a sample cell. The input light signal may originate from a plurality of light sources. An output light signal from the sample cell is then routed to one or more spectrometers for measurement of the represented wavelengths in the output light signal. The output of the spectrometers is then compared to known values for hydrocarbons typically encountered downhole. This provides insight into the composition of the sample fluid. Additionally, the light from the light sources can be routed directly to the one or more spectrometers to be used in calibration of the system in the high temperature and noise environment downhole.
