    Abstract: A method for detecting fluid leakage from a pressure-decrease valve in a hydraulic brake system having an ABS device including: a shutoff valve for shutting off supply of a working fluid from a fluid-pressure supply source to a brake device provided for a wheel; the pressure-decrease valve for discharging the working fluid from the brake device; a reservoir for storing the working fluid discharged from the pressure-decrease valve; and a return pump for returning the working fluid stored in the reservoir to a portion between the shutoff valve and the fluid-pressure supply source, the method including the steps of: activating the return pump in a state in which the hydraulic brake system is not in ABS operation, and detecting the fluid leakage from the pressure-decrease valve based on a variation in a pressure of the working fluid in the fluid-pressure supply source caused when the return pump is activated.

    Abstract: In an electromagnetic valve in which a valve body unit is housed in a housing, the unit has a plunger including a groove portion at its cylindrical outer peripheral face. The groove portion extends in the cylinder axis direction and moves in the cylinder axis direction by an electromagnetic force generated by an electromagnetic coil. A rod is secured to the plunger and abuts against a valve seat for opening and closing the valve when the plunger is moved to close the valve and releasing the abutment of the rod against the seat when the plunger is moved to open the valve. A cylindrical sleeve covers the outer peripheral face of the plunger and is configured integrally with the plunger. A communication passage defined by the groove portion of the plunger and the inner peripheral face of the sleeve extends in the cylinder axis direction.

In the simultaneous operation mode, a controlled parameter of linear control valves on assumption that the second actuator is operating is set up, and a stop instruction of regenerative braking is transmitted to a hybrid ECU.

A second spring applies a load smaller than and resistive to the load of the first spring to the valve element and the movable core. The valve further includes a load adjusting mechanism for adjusting the load of the first spring, and a stroke adjusting mechanism for adjusting an unseating stroke of the valve element from the valve seat.
