  • Patent number: 11967294
Abstract: A common electrode driver includes an inverting amplifier including a first resistor, a second resistor, and an operational amplifier, and a resistance ratio adjustment circuit that adjusts, in accordance with a length of one horizontal scan period, a resistance ratio being a ratio of a resistance value of the second resistor to a resistance value of the first resistor. A feedback voltage is provided to one end of the first resistor. The resistance ratio adjustment circuit sets the resistance ratio when second driving is performed, in which a length of one horizontal scan period is a second time longer than a first time, to be smaller than the resistance ratio when first driving is performed, in which a length of one horizontal scan period is the first time.

  • Patent number: 4717954
Abstract: A method and apparatus for obtaining an accurate half-tone dot percent of each color separation where a color designated by a color specimen is to be reproduced by printing of ink of the colors, for example, yellow, magenta, cyan and black. A variety of color charts printed using predetermined combinations of half-tone dot percents are optically measured to obtain color information of the colors printed on the color charts. The obtained color information values together with the corresponding predetermined combinations of half-tone dot percents therefor are then utilized to prepare a conversion table of color information and corresponding half-tone dot percents for reproducing each of the colors printed on the color charts. A color specimen is then optically measured to detect color information of a color to be reproduced.

  • Patent number: 4485413
Abstract: A color television video signal is directly read out in synchronism to the scanning speed of a scanner, the video signal thus read out is converted into three primary color signals, and these three primary color signals are in turn converted into process video signals, which are supplied to the scanner. A printing plate can be produced directly from a television video signal without requiring any color picture original.

  • Patent number: 4339769
Abstract: A photography apparatus for television picture comprises a video tape recorder which detects a frame specifying signal recorded on an audio track corresponding to a frame image next to a predetermined frame image by a detecting head disposed before the audio head by a distance corresponding to one field in the direction of tape travel; a memory device for storing one frame image produced by the video tape recorder when the video tape recorder detects the frame specifying signal; an NTSC decoder for separating the signal stored in the memory into three primary color signals; a monochrome monitor for reproducing images corresponding to each of the three primary color signals produced by the NTSC decoder; and a camera with a vertically elongated aperture diaphragm for forming, on color film, multi-exposed images on the monochrome monitor through color filters passing only the respective primary color corresponding to each image.
