  • Publication number: 20210194325
Abstract: A rotary electric machine unit includes: a first rotary electric machine having a first rotation axis extending in a horizontal direction; a second rotary electric machine having a second rotation axis extending in parallel with the first rotation axis and positioned lower than the first rotation axis; a first rotation speed detection device arranged at a position overlapping with the first rotary electric machine as viewed from an axial direction; a second rotation speed detection device arranged at a position overlapping with the second rotary electric machine as viewed from the axial direction; and a refrigerant supply portion configured to supply refrigerant to the first rotary electric machine. The first rotation speed detection device and the second rotation speed detection device are arranged on one axial end side of the first rotary electric machine and the second rotary electric machine in the axial direction.

  • Publication number: 20170264156
Abstract: A stator of a rotating electric machine, includes a stator core, a stator coil, and a coolant guide. The stator core has a first end surface and a second end surface opposite to the first end surface in a rotational axis of the rotating electric machine. The stator core has slots that are arranged around the rotational axis and that extend along the rotational axis from the first end surface to the second end surface. The stator coil is provided in each of the slots. The stator coil has a first coil end protruding from the first end surface and a second coil end protruding from the second end surface. The coolant guide disposed between the first end surface of the stator core and the first coil end of the stator coil to guide a coolant to flow in a circumferential direction around the rotational axis.

  • Patent number: 8479867
Abstract: A vehicle drive unit includes a motor as a power source, a power control unit supported by a vehicle body, and a three-phase cable that connects the power control unit and the motor. A first end portion of the three-phase cable is connected to the power control unit toward the rear of the vehicle in a direction orthogonal to a rotary axis of the motor, a second end portion of the three-phase cable is connected to the motor toward the front of the vehicle in the orthogonal direction, and a U-shaped swing absorber that is curved to extend in the orthogonal direction is provided between the first end portion and the second end portion of the three-phase cable.

  • Patent number: 8179010
Abstract: A rotor is provided. The rotor includes a rotor iron core including slots formed around an outer circumferential portion thereof; magnet pieces which are inserted into the slots, respectively, such that a magnetic orientation of the magnet pieces are inverted every predetermined number of the slots; and two end plates, one end plate disposed on each end side in an axial direction of the rotor iron core, the two end plates covering the slots in the axial direction. The rotor iron core also includes cutout portions, which are located at an interval between adjacent ones of the slots, each of the cutout portions extending in the axial direction of the rotor iron core. One of the two end plates includes injection openings, each of which corresponds to a respective one of the slots, and communicating grooves each of which is formed so as to communicate with one of the cutout portions.
