    Abstract: A method of manufacturing an optical connector ferrule includes a step of forming the optical connector ferrule by introducing a resin into a die. The optical connector ferrule includes one end surface and the other end surface, a pair of side surfaces, a front surface and a back surface, an introduction port that introduces a plurality of optical fibers in a bundle, a plurality of optical fiber holding holes that penetrate from the introduction port to the one end surface and hold the plurality of optical fibers, respectively, and a window hole that penetrates from the surface to the introduction port. A distance between a center of a gate and the front surface is less than a distance between the center of the gate and the back surface.

The optical connector ferrule comprises an opening; an introducing hole which extends from the opening to the first end; optical fiber holes which pass through from a tip portion of the introducing hole to the first end; and a window which opens to the outer surface and is connected to the introducing hole, and into which an adhesive is injected. A first opening of the window closer to the outer surface is larger than a second opening of the window closer to the introducing hole. An inner wall of the window includes a first surface provided in the peripheral direction of the inner wall, and the first surface is positioned closer to the introducing hole with respect to the outer surface, and faces the outer surface.

It includes a clamp which holds the coated optical fiber, having a glass fiber and the coating, on both sides of a portion-to-be-cut, a disk-shaped blade member which moves at the portion-to-be-cut in a direction orthogonal to an axis of the optical fiber to cut the coating and to provide a slit into the glass fiber, and a support which presses, with a predetermined pressing force, the portion-to-be-cut from an opposite side of the blade member with respect to the portion-to-be-cut when cutting the coating and providing the slit into the glass fiber. A head of the support is formed with a groove along a sliding direction of the blade member.
