  • Patent number: 8657211
Abstract: In a second tank unit, a controller controls the on/off switching of a water supply solenoid valve so that water is stored in a sub tank within the level of Lu to Ll. At the same time, the controller controls the on/off switching of a pressurizing solenoid valve and a decompressing solenoid valve so that the air pressure in the upper space in the sub tank is maintained at a target value. As a result, regardless of the water level in the sub tank, the back pressure in the tank is maintained at the target value higher than atmospheric pressure. In this state, when a central controller turns on a water spouting solenoid valve, pressured water rapidly spouts from a nozzle. Moreover, a change in the target values of the back pressure promptly changes the height of the spouting water. Accordingly, water spouting can be promptly started/stopped, and the height or size of the spouting water can be readily and smoothly changed.

  • Patent number: 7048031
Abstract: A new apparatus for casting dental prosthesis has been proposed, comprising a ring-placing section onto which plural rings are to be placed, a crucible holder for holding plural cylindrical crucibles, a burning unit with a furnace, a casting unit and a conveyer for conveying the ring or the crucible. The lifting state of the burning unit includes a base capable of rotating around a substantially horizontal axis, an orientation-maintaining mechanism for maintaining the base substantially horizontal and an orientation-changing mechanism for exerting an external force onto the base. The conveyer performs a position-correcting motion for correcting the position of the ring by lowering the gripper. The apparatus provides a management code to each crucible for preventing troubles or delay of work caused by the breaking of crucibles due to the aging.

  • Patent number: 6696649
Abstract: The total weight of a plurality of resin products is set as a reference value, and a first upper-limit threshold and a first lower-limit threshold are respectively stored in a control circuit 38 on the upper limit side and the lower limit side with respect to the reference value. A second upper-limit threshold which is yet greater than the first upper-limit threshold and a second lower-limit threshold which is yet smaller than the first lower-limit threshold are stored in the control circuit 38. When the total weight of the resin products is greater than the first upper-limit threshold, a determination is made by the control circuit 38 as to whether or not the total weight of the resin products is yet greater than the second lower-limit threshold. Further, when the total weight of the resin products is less than the first upper-limit threshold, a determination is made by the control circuit 38 as to whether or not the total weight of the resin products is yet less than the second lower-limit threshold.

  • Publication number: 20030234095
Abstract: The present invention proposes an apparatus for casting dental prosthesis capable of preventing troubles or delay of work caused by the breaking of crucibles due to the aging. A management code representing a management number is printed on the upper part of each crucible for melting the casting material. In advance of burning a ring, the crucible paired with the ring is set in a holder 70. The holder 70 with the crucible is rotated by a motor 70, and the management code on the crucible is scanned with a optical sensor 73. Then, the scanned code is decoded into the management number and fed to a crucible identifier 751, which retrieves the cumulative usage count of the crucible from the table held in a usage history record 752. A usage count determiner 753 determines whether or not the usage count is equal to or greater than a preset value.

  • Patent number: 6488074
Abstract: The present invention proposes an apparatus for casting dental prosthesis designed to save labor and costly malformations. In a form of the invention, a first arm mechanism 20 for conveying a ring and a second arm mechanism 30 for conveying a crucible are provided to slide along the same guide 27. A ring-placing platform C and a burning unit G are placed across the guide 27, and so are a crucible-placing platform D and a casting unit H. When the arm mechanism 20 places a ring on a lifting stage 44, the lifting stage 44 moves upward to contain the ring in a furnace 41, where the ring is heated to bum off the wax inside. Meanwhile, the arm mechanism 30 places the crucible in a container 50, where alloy ingots are melted. After completing the melting of the alloy ingots and the burning of the ring, the arm mechanism 20 conveys the ring onto the top of the crucible in the container 50.

  • Patent number: 6386265
Abstract: While rotating a chamber 10 with a crucible 18 for heating ingots 28 of metal and a mold 23 for receiving molten metal from the crucible 18 enclosed therein from a normal position to a reversed position, when an arrival of the chamber 10 at a preset reference position is detected by a rotary plate 36 and a position sensor 37, a pressure gas is introduced into the chamber 10 at a time point delayed from the reference position by a preset delay time. The delay time is preset so that the pressurize gas starts pressing the molten metal into a sprue runner 26 immediately after a mouth of the sprue runner 26 is completely closed by the molten metal poured from the crucible 18. Thus, the molten metal is promptly pressed through the sprue runner 26 into a cavity 27 of the mold 23 before it starts solidifying due to the contact with the mold 23 having a temperature lower than that of the molten metal.
