  • Publication number: 20090087500
Abstract: To provide a guava leaf extract powder which exhibits less deterioration in quality and functions after storage of the solution thereof for a long period of time. The invention provides a method for producing a guava leaf extract powder, including extracting guava leaves with hot water at 90 to 98° C.; concentrating the obtained extract to a Brix level of 20 to 30; and lyophilizing the concentrated extract, and a guava leaf extract powder produced through the method.

  • Publication number: 20090055062
Abstract: A work machine gear shifting control system provides gear shifting conditions for an automatic gear shifting mode in accordance with work site conditions. An area 62 of a display device 49 displays a permissible velocity setting range and setup operation guidance, and another area 64 shows guidance to indicate whether the setting is acceptable or unacceptable. When the traveling velocity falls within the permissible velocity setting range, the displayed guidance changes to indicate that the setting is acceptable. When, in this instance, an operator presses a setup switch 23 with desired timing, a transmission gear shifting control section 45 acquires the prevailing vehicle velocity and velocity ratio (or vehicle velocity), and stores adjustment values in an adjustment value storage section 43 so that the vehicle velocity and velocity ratio become the gear shifting control threshold values for normal gear shifting control (steps S535 to S545).

  • Publication number: 20080292751
Abstract: An object of the invention is to provide a lactic acid bacteria fermentation product, which has been obtained by culturing lactic acid bacteria on a medium containing an extract of at least one food material selected from the group consisting of rice bran, persimmon leaves, perilla, Houttuynia cordata Thunb, Eucommia ulmoides Oliv., turmeric, clove, cinnamon and Rubus suavissimus S. Lee (Rosaceae). By adding and mixing the extract used for the preparation of the fermentation product to a medium, it is possible to increase simply the viable cell count of lactic acid bacteria, without affecting the flavor of the product. It is possible, by using the extract, to obtain a lactic acid bacteria fermentation product which contains many viable lactic acid bacteria with their activities highly maintained, and further to provide beverages or foods using the product.

  • Publication number: 20070289803
Abstract: A forward/reverse control system for a work machine cancels a second control state, in which forward/reverse switching control is performed by a second forward/reverse control means, by an operation of a first forward/reverse control means to return to a first control state in which forward/reverse switching control is performed by the first forward/reverse control means. The system is provided with a F-N-R lever unit 30 (the first forward/reverse control means) and F-N-R switch unit 40 (the second forward/reverse control means) that instruct forward, reverse or neutral, a controller 42 which performs forward/reverse switching control by giving priority to an instruction from the F-N-R lever unit 30 over an instruction from the F-N-R switch unit 40, and a selector switch 41 which by an operation of a switching control member 41a, instructs the controller 42 to switch to the second control state or to cancel the second control state.

  • Publication number: 20060225940
Abstract: The present invention provides a construction machine adopting a structure that assures a predetermined sound pressure level along a forward direction relative to the construction machine and allows a warning horn to be miniaturized. Warning horns 12 and 13 are mounted in the vicinity of at least either a left headlamp 9 or a right headlamp 10 provided on the left side and the right side of a vehicle body 3 of the construction machine. The warning horns 12 and 13 are housed inside a bracket 11 used to mount the headlamp 9 or 10. The plurality of warning horns 12 and 13 are disposed on a single side toward the left headlamp 9 or the right headlamp 10. Since a front attachment 7 does not block the sound generated from the warning horns 12 and 13 and thus the warning sound can travel without hindrance along the forward direction, a predetermined sound pressure level is achieved with ease along the forward direction relative to the vehicle body 3.

  • Patent number: 6156838
Abstract: A polyamide resin composition comprising a copolyamide and silicate layers originating from a swellable fluoromica, dispersed in said copolyamide on a molecular level, wherein an average thickness and an average aspect ratio (length/thickness) of the silicate layers are within specific ranges. Also disclosed is a process for preparing the polyamide resin composition.
