The grill stay faces an upper portion of the bumper panel from behind. The grille stay includes a front portion and a rear portion, and the rear portion has a smaller cross sectional area than the front portion. The grill stay further includes a step portion at a boundary between the front portion and the rear portion. The stay cover includes a front end that is disposed to face a rear face of the step portion.
