  • Publication number: 20120058568
Abstract: It is an object of the present invention to provide a liquid chromatograph which, in a high performance liquid chromatograph analysis using a post-column method, can maintain mixing precision of a sample eluted from a column and a reaction reagent without a special mixing and reacting portion, prevent diffusion of a target component, and perform measurement with high sensitivity. The liquid chromatograph of the present invention has a mobile phase feed pump 1 with an allowable pressure higher than 40 MPa, a separation column 3 having a packing material with a particle diameter of 3 ?m or smaller, and a reaction reagent feed pump 8 to which a pressurizing coil 9 for increasing the pressure acting on the reaction reagent feed pump 8 is connected.

  • Patent number: 5938169
Abstract: An accessory such as an alternator is mounted to an automobile with a mounting that includes an upper mounting bracket and a lower mounting bracket, these brackets each being connected to the accessory and to the engine. One end of the upper mounting bracket is fixed to a side of the alternator. A length of the upper bracket is provided with an elongated slot and a fastener passing through the slot is fixed to an upper part of the engine such as at a water pump casing, the upper bracket thus being slidable on the fastener to adjust a positioning of the alternator relative to the engine and correspondingly altering a tension in an engine driven accessory drive belt. Because the upper bracket is thus at the accessory inner side, overall engine width is reduced and belt tensioning achieved in more efficient way.

  • Patent number: 5145979
Abstract: There are provided processes for the preparation of .gamma.-methacryloxypropylsilane compounds which comprise carrying out the reaction of allyl methacrylate with a hydrosilane compound in the presence of a platinum catalyst, while allowing at least one of a hindered phenol compound and an aromatic amine compound to coexist in the reaction system with an alkylamine compound or an amide compound, or with a gas containing molecular oxygen, or with a phenol compound having an aminoalkylene group. By using these processes as provided, gelation of the reaction mixture in the reaction system and during the course of purification thereof by distillation can effectively be avoided, and the desired .gamma.-methacryloxypropylsilane compounds can be obtained in good yield.
