  • Patent number: 11173776
Abstract: In a vehicle body front structure for an electric vehicle, including a battery pack mounted beneath a vehicle body floor, a bracket and a rear end part of a vehicle body frame are each inclined downward from an upper front to a rear. When viewed in a fore-and-aft direction, at least part of the bracket overlaps the rear end part. Therefore, the rear end part, moving rearward due to frontal collision, abuts against the bracket, and the frame slips and drops downward from the upper front to the lower rear along the bracket, thus preventing any decrease in crash stroke of the frame due to interference with the battery pack at the end stage of collision. Since abutment relationship with the rear end part can be adjusted merely changing angle of inclination or position of the bracket, the cost is very low.

  • Patent number: 10683014
Abstract: A vehicle control system includes: an automated driving control part that performs automated driving in which at least one of acceleration/deceleration and steering of a vehicle is automatically controlled; a driving operation element that receives an operation of an occupant with respect to acceleration/deceleration and steering of the vehicle; an operation element state change part that makes the driving operation element disabled when the automated driving by the automated driving control part is performed; and an alternative operation reception part that receives an operation which is different from the operation with respect to the driving operation element by the occupant when the driving operation element is disabled by the operation element state change part, wherein the automated driving control part controls at least one of acceleration/deceleration and steering of the vehicle based on the operation by the alternative operation reception part.

  • Publication number: 20200117191
Abstract: A vehicle control system includes a state detector configured to detect a state of an occupant in a vehicle, and an automated driving controller configured to execute automated driving that automatically controls at least one of acceleration/deceleration or steering of the vehicle. In a case of a first state in which a posture of the occupant is a non-steady posture different from a steady posture or in a case of a second state in which a predetermined safety device is not attached to a body of the occupant, the automated driving controller is configured to change a control state of the vehicle from a first control state to a second control state in a case in which the occupant is not in the first state or the second state, on the basis of a detection result of the state detector.

  • Publication number: 20180281626
Abstract: Provided is a vehicle seat control device which includes a collision prediction unit (50) which predicts whether a collision will occur in a vehicle and a time before the collision will occur, driving units (14a and 18a), each changing at least one of a position and a posture of a vehicle seat (10), and a control unit (80) which controls the driving units to bring the vehicle seat close to a target state during the time before the collision predicted by the collision prediction unit occurs.
