  • Patent number: 4958215
Abstract: A press-contact flat type semiconductor device is disclosed which, without alloy-bonding a silicon pellet to a molybdenum or tungsten disc, assures a uniform press contact because a warp on the silicon pellet is largely reduced in comparison with a conventional device. A silver sheet is omitted between an anode electrode post and the silicon pellet to absorb a warp on the pellet. It is only necessary to insert a molybdenum or tungsten disc there, instead, which is thinner than a counterpart of the conventional device.

  • Patent number: 4694322
Abstract: A common insulation plate is provided on a heat-discharging support member, and a plurality of press-packed semiconductor elements is provided on the common insulation plate. These semiconductor elements are coupled to electrodes which form a common electrode by a plurality of spring mechanisms. An internal connection terminal is slidably provided at each of the electrodes and is bent perpendicular to a pressing surface. Each of the internal connection terminals faces the adjacent one. After the electrodes are pressed against the respective semiconductor elements with adjustment, the internal connection terminals are electrically coupled together.

  • Patent number: 4665831
Abstract: An electric power supplying system for a continuous transit system by magnet (CTM) in which magnets attached to under parts of a certain number of cars comprising the trains and energized regularly are attracted to magnetic belts of a plurality of magnetic belt conveyor units arranged at predetermined intervals along a running track thereby successively drawing and running the trains. There is provided a trolley wire which is divided at least into a certain number of insulated sections at intervals of a predetermined block section length and a predetermined no-load current is supplied to the insulated sections of the trolley wire. When the current flowing to each insulated section of the trolley wire is within a predetermined range, the magnetic belt conveyor unit group corresponding to a block section following the insulated section with respect to the direction of train movement is operated.

  • Patent number: 4289227
Abstract: A belt conveyor transportation system includes a plurality of belt conveyor units each having an endless belt whose main constituent element consists of a magnetic material so as to be magnetically attractive with magnets, and the conveyor units are continuously arranged lengthwise along a desired transportation network layout to form a conveyor line. The conveyor units of the conveyor line drive their magnetic belts separately or in groups each including a number of the units at an independent speed. A moving body or bodies are arranged to move along the conveyor line, and the moving member includes a magnet system. By virtue of the magnetic attraction between the conveyor units and the magnet system, the moving member travels along the conveyor line while being hauled by the magnetic belts of the conveyor units at their respective speeds.

  • Patent number: 4202273
Abstract: A control system for automatic operation of travelling objects through a power supply system without using any signal communication systems. Either a DC power source or three-phase AC power source is utilized as a power source. With the system employing a DC power source, three trolley wires are installed, one a negative and two positive. Each of the positive wires is divided and insulated into sections of a predetermined length; the positive feeding trolley wires in each section is always supplied with the DC power, and the power to the other positive feeding trolley wire is switched on and off depending on the movement of travelling objects. Each travelling object is supplied with power by the three trolley wires has a DC motor, and when one of the positive wires has no voltage, this is detected and the braking is effected. The travelling object entering a station is automatically decelerated and stopped.
