  • Patent number: 7554235
Abstract: A heat sink (35) is fixed by insert molding to a resin-made motor cover covering a case body fixed to a motor body. A flow-in portion (61) extending along a straight line and branch portions (62) to (66) formed so as to be branched to the flow-in portion (61) are formed in the heat sink (35), a tip portion of a power-feeding terminal (58) is disposed at the branch portion (62), and the tip portion of the power-feeding terminal (58) is disposed at the branch portion (63). In addition, when a molding resin is cast in the flow-in portion (61) and the branch portions (62) to (66) during the insert molding, these power-feeding terminals (58) and (59) are fixed to the branch portions (62) and (63) and terminal parts (58b) and (59b) are positioned by the branch portions (62) and (63).

  • Publication number: 20070273313
Abstract: [PROBLEMS] To ensure visibility of the driver by continuing operation of a wiper even upon failure of a sensor for a motor rotation pulse. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A wiper arm is reciprocated for wiping by rotating a motor forward and reversely, and the operation of the wiper arm is controlled according to an absolute position signal outputted when the wiper arm exists at a predetermined position and a motor pulse outputted as the motor rotates. Input of the motor pulse is recognized (S32). When an abnormality occurs in the motor pulse, the motor is rotated forward for a predetermined time at a constant duty (S33). After a forward driving, the motor is rotated reversely for a predetermined time at a constant duty (S34). Consequently, the wiper arm continues reciprocal wiping operation even when a relative position signal is abnormal, thus ensuring visibility of the driver. Forward/reverse operation is continued for a predetermined time, and then the motor is stopped (S35,S36).

  • Patent number: 7187093
Abstract: A connection part between brush side terminals and power side terminal pieces is disposed at either of positions L and R located laterally next to an axis of a motor and opposed to each other with respect to the axis. Both terminals are connected to each other through a connection unit detachably fitted to the brush side terminals and others and the power side terminal pieces and others. The connection unit has male terminals to be coupled to the brush side terminal and others, female terminals to be coupled to the power side terminal piece and others, and a coil part for noise prevention connecting the male terminal and others to the female terminal and others. The connection part can be set to the position L or R by rotating the brush holder in a circumferential direction, which makes it possible to use the connection unit at any of these positions. Thus, the brush holder unit can be shared in electric motors having a speed reduction mechanism with different specifications to reduce a product cost.

  • Publication number: 20050151432
Abstract: A connection part 30 between brush side terminals 31a to 31c and power side terminal pieces 32a to 32c is disposed either of positions L and R located laterally next to an axis of a motor and opposed to each other with respect to the axis. Both terminals are connected each other through a connection unit 36 ditachably fitted to the brush side terminals 31a and others and the power side terminal pieces 32a and others. The connection unit 36 has male terminals 37a to 37c to be coupled to the brush side terminal 31a and others, female terminals 38a to 38c to be coupled to the power side terminal piece 32a and others, and a coil part for noise prevention connecting the male terminal 37a and others to the female terminal 38a and others. The connection part 30 can be set to the position L or R by rotating the brush holder 15 in circumferential direction, which makes it possible to use the connection unit 36 at any of these positions.

  • Patent number: 5588879
Abstract: It is an object of the invention to provide a direct coupler device which can decrease the number of terminals. A motor lead wire 14 connected to the brush of the motor is electrically connected to an electricity supplying wire of a wire harness through a female and male coupler portions. The top of the lead wire motor 14 is connected to the opposite end portion of a male terminal portion 18 of the motor lead wire 14. The motor terminal 15 is fitted to a recess 45 which is formed on a main portion 12 of the male coupler 11 in the state in which the lead wire positions are at the bottom side, which is thereby held on the recess 45. A part of the motor terminal 15 is engaged to a cap 13 which is placed on the main portion 12, the motor terminal 15 is prevented from coming out.

  • Patent number: 5422449
Abstract: A wiper driving apparatus comprising: a drive gear rotated by a motor; a clutch member rotating together with the drive gear only in a direction the drive gear is biased to; a pair of electric conductor plates for turning on and off an electric circuit of the motor; a pair of movable contacts rotatable relatively with the electric conductor plates in sliding contact with the electric conductor plates, respectively; and a housing rotatably supporting the clutch member with a supporting axle and having the electric conductor plates provided concentrically therewith; wherein both of the movable contacts and the clutch member are rotated integrally with one another. The clutch member is formed as a conductive member, one of the movable contacts is formed integrally on the clutch member, and the electric conductor plate, on which the movable contact slides, is disposed adjacently to the supporting axle.

  • Patent number: 5414318
Abstract: A grommet 40 is coupled to one side of a brush holder stay 20. When the brush holder stay 20 is housed in an end bracket 11, a projection 42 projecting from the grommet 40 is engaged with a groove 14 which is provided in the end bracket 11. A screw insertion hole 25 opened at a position opposite to the grommet 40 of the brush holder stay 20 is adjusted with a threaded hole 16 of a boss portion formed in the end bracket 11, whereby a screw 34 is inserted therethrough and screwed in the threaded hole 16. The brush holder stay 20 is fixed to the end bracket 11 by one piece of screw 34 and the grommet 40.
